Raphael’s favorite prank to play on the rookies is an old classic. Invite them out to a very nice, fancy dinner with the whole team. It’s a great way to get to know the team and bond, and the restraint is high end. We’re talking $100 + per plate, and $4000 bottles of wine fancy!
It’s a great bonding moment and a perfect welcome to the show situation where the team really bonds. The rookies feel like their years of hard work and effort have paid off finally, and the veterans have a welcome back to the team, offseason is over moment. Of course at the end of the meal with the bill being rung up as high as they can reasonably make it, the team then chooses that as the correct time to inform the rookies that they are on the hook for the bill. A perfect ending to a perfect evening, as the rookies get to feel like they have made it, but at the same time also learn that there is still so much farther to go.
