At the end of his career. McAlister would make a great GM after watching his mentor Jamar Lackson attempt to do it for the Minnesota Grey Ducks for a short amount of time right after his career. There are a couple things that McAlister would do in order to do a better job than Lackson. Step 1, fostering a more active Locker Room, while Minnesota is one of the most active Locker Rooms now, it was not at the time of LAcksons' reign, as he usually opted to leave that part to his co-GM, which looking back probably lead to less success than he would've if he had balanced sim testing and LR activity. IF Ace was ever made a GM of an ISFL level, I would hope to have a better idea of when to buy and sell than some of the other GMs that McAlister has seen in his career, which would lead to a couple different periods of success, and not getting sucked into the win now pit of despair.
