11. Well, I have to say that I think the Chicago Butchers biggest rival is the Sarasota Sailfish. While the Butchers are the older of the two teams as they were an original expansion team, the two have both been recently competitive and in the same conference. Since S30, the two have them have appeared in the playoffs a combined 11 times while actually playing each other in the postseason three times. Each of them have won the Ultimus once during this six season time frame. I know from my time being with the Butchers that things always heat up in the locker room when we're going to be playing the Sailfish. It always seems like we play one another hard even when one of our teams isn't overly skilled, which is wild once you consider that everything in the league is randomly controlled by a sim engine. That means there really shouldn't be a rivalry built into any of the actual gameplay, but it sure seems like it is. We even played each other once so far in the NSFC Championship Game, last season, and the Sailfish completely dismantled us in a 22-2 drubbing, but that game really isn't representative of the level of competitiveness between our two teams. I get that being two of the better teams in the same conference over an extended period of time will naturally build a rivalry like feeling, and I'm not arguing that we're anything like the Steelers versus the Ravens or the Seahawks versus the 49ers, but we're starting to build a similar story I believe. It may be a short history as both of us started as expansion teams, but there is plenty of time in the future to continue the story of what is one of the ISFLs best growing rivalries. Hopefully that means both Sarasota and Chicago will be competitive for a long time to come.
28. I think that it is quite obvious that Arizona Outlaws running back Jay Cue Jr. should be the Most Outstanding Player this season. Much like his father, a former star and MVP with the Outlaws himself, Cue Jr. has shown that he can be valuable in every aspect of the game. To start with, his 3073 all-purpose yards are by far the most in the league. He adds to that statistical resume 24 total touchdowns and 41 pancakes as a pass blocker. Allowing only five sacks on the season means that Cue was reliable on passing downs as both a receiver and as a blocker. I dare you to find another player that excelled in every single aspect of their position that Cue Jr. did this season. He had an absolute blockbuster year, meaning he should continue to have plenty of chances to touch the ball in the future, no matter what team he plies his trade for.
