Here in Portland, we're known for a lot of things. Victory, sex appeal and countless other things associated with winning. Often times people can't even say the word Python without coughing out the words - "da best". However, on very cold, very dark days we've unbelievably experienced a loss. Thus, the trying times start. Typically, we'll begin the loss by getting screamed at for our failures, and without changing out, be led into the film room to be shown our disgrace in third person. After shutting the lights off we'll change out in the dark. We go home to our families and receive the only love and support we'll know for the next 5 days. Last time I tried to drive into the stadium for practice, they revoked my parking pass. So, I had to park at the Home Depot a few blocks away and walk to the building. Needless to say, the team has a culture of fear that dominates the locker room, and uses it to control the players like we're the Nazgûl.
