The goal for Notso Smart is pretty much the same as it’s always been: To win as many games and rings as possible. Any and all individual successes are just a bonus but not really chased. Naturally this begins in the DSFL, where I would ideally like to win and Ultimini with Dallas — potentially becoming the first user to do it with the two expansion teams?! It would be great to get it done but it’s obviously a very difficult championship to win, especially with how competitive and unpredictable our development league can be.
At the ISFL level, I’d like to get another couple of rings, which would always be a great career total for any player. While it’s great that Glenn Smart got two with Arizona (eventually), they don’t necessarily feel “earned” because I was IA towards the backend of his career and the player certainly wasn’t a pivotal part of the team at that point — especially the 2nd time around. This time, it’s about performing optimally for the team all over again and getting as much team-based success out of the player as possible, before it’s time to call it a day and put Notso to bed.
