8. I've had a really good time in the league so far. All of the rookie mentors have been super helpful about setting my expectations, giving me advice about how things work around here, and keeping the rookie/DSFL channel alive and booming. It’s also crazy how, no matter what weird, obscure, or insane question I’ve had, they’ve always had an answer for me within the hour. I’m super impressed by the Rookie Mentors.
My favorite part of the league so far was the Prospect Bowl! I had a great time in the discord channel memeing with everyone when it came out live, talking shit about the other teams, and watching our shitty ass players try to play football. There were *so many* drops, and we look so slow, and everything was really just a “yikes”. That said, I’m really glad for the opportunity to see where my player started, so I have an opportunity to watch my player grow. This was an important baseline, and I know I’m gonna absolutely crush it from here.
I’ve come to realize that I’m not actually particularly concerned with the DSFL draft. I think all of the DSFL teams are going to change a ton due to the huge draft class. Also, I’m going to make the same amount of money no matter where I get sent. The GM’s don’t have much information to use to draft us, since there are so many players in this draft class, and I’m confident I’m gonna get huge playing time wherever I go. We’ll see how well my team does, and wherever I go will be pretty great. This is also because my scouting conversations have all been solid. Since every team looks like it’ll be fun and interesting, I’m confident I’m gonna have fun on any of the teams! Here’s to hoping the draft memes are as good as the Prospect Bowl memes![Wink Wink](https://forums.sim-football.com/images/smilies/wink.png)

I'm gonna be the very best like no one ever was!
In all seriousness, I’m going to be active. My player is going to improve. I’ve done everything possible for TPE up to this point, and I expect that to continue for a while ,assuming the new discord payout is anything like the twitter payout; without that revenue stream, money is gonna be tight.
Apart from the character, I, the player, will be active in the locker room. I wanna learn more about the sim and learn more about the strategies for the team I get drafted to. My dream would be to revolutionize the league’s meta and make everyone play better! Sadly, I don’t expect an actual revolution, but I will be able to contribute to the team’s planning/simming grind/discussion. Also, I’ve been told I’m a pretty great guy all around, and I’m sure your locker room will be more fun with someone like me.
That said, everyone in the class is pretty chill so far, so I think you’re gonna do well no matter who you pick.

Picture this: A group of performers dressed in medieval armor and wielding wooden shields and swords take the field, ready to battle it out for the amusement of the crowd. They cast spells and engage in epic duels, complete with special effects, pyrotechnics, and an electrifying soundtrack. What am I describing? A Dungeons and Dragons campaign played out on the field.
The audience would be transported to a magical world where heroes fight for honor and glory, as the football players and fans alike get swept up in the excitement. At the end of the show, one hero emerges as the victor, and the crowd goes wild with applause. Or, they sit there watching some nerds roll dice for a few hours. I think that’ll fit the mood and timeslot, right?
The Dungeons and Dragons football half-time show would be a unique and unforgettable experience, sure to thrill fans of both football and fantasy. Or, they forget about the whole football part of it, and just go play DnD for the rest of the day. Seems good to me.
