Nine minutes into the game with the ball on their own 42 yard line St. Christmas dropped back to pass on first and ten. After going through their first several reads and finding no openings they could fit it in St. Christmas settled on a checkdown to their third down back with the aim to just make a second and short to live another down. Before the ball could get there though star safety Cross-Eriksen closed the gap, picked the ball off, and stayed on her feet to make a run for the end zone. Befitting her slender frame she slipped through the grasp of the target of the pass and made her way to the line of scrimmage. Just like a running back she found a hint of daylight and burst through an opening made by the defensive line to get a path to the end zone. It took her just a stiff arm to St. Christmas to clear the last of her obstacles as she sprinted the rest of the way into the end zone for her first touchdown of the season and the fifth of her ISFL career.
