At first, Absolute Unit was shocked that he was chosen to be part of the community outreach event for two main reasons. The first was that he was picked at all to do the event because he still sometimes thinks of himself as a defensive tackle first and not a quarterback. But after the initial shock wore off and he remembered he was the starting quarterback of the team it made more sense. The second thing that shocked him was that they would need a community outreach event at all! I mean, they are up in the middle of nowhere in the Yukon Territory, there's not a whole lot else to do but watch the Wraiths play and enjoy poutine. But still, he welcomed the opportunity to interact with fans and help build the brand of the team. For the event, they went to a local pond and played a pick up game of pond hockey, trying to show that football has some tough, skilled players too.
