We in San Jose have had a rough season to this point. To say we could improve one thing or the other would be too simplistic, instead, we need to improve at every part of the game. All three facets of the game have been inadequate this season and thus we all need to be better to have a better second half. On offense, we haven't been able to move the ball successfully enough to win games but that is to be expected sometimes when you have a rookie quarterback. While in many games the defense has been solid, there are other ones where it feels like the team would not be able to stop a nosebleed. Finally, there are the abysmal special teams. Booter McGavin has just been horrendous this season. He can't punt the ball long, he can't pin teams deep, and he certainly can't be bothered to make a field goal. Simply the San Jose Sabercats would have double their win total if they just had another kicker.
