In my opinion, my kneejerk reaction is that Cape Town is playing better than their record suggests this season but is underachieving in some areas. The only real concern about Cape Town this season is a lackluster defense, and fumble problems, specifically for non-star players. Jerrith is also having a solid season, only having 3 interceptions to 10 touchdowns, however, fumbling the ball 3 times in 4 games, which means that Cape Town should only trust Nakiri Ayame with running the ball. Ayame has been the bellcow since the departure of JHM in the offseason, and she has proven her worth, the only problem is that she has not seen the end zone very much this season, as Jerrith seems to prefer Malik Brooks, or other wideouts in the end zone. If Cape Town gets back in the postseason, they’re going to have to ride the legs of Ayame a lot more than they currently are.
