Wynn Jenkins relishes sponsors. As such when Fiat came to ask him to promote their new vehicle he couldn't say no.
Wynn will be the face of Fiat for the foreseeable future; mainly for their new model of Punto. The exposure to the DSFL -and to a lesser extent the ISFL- gained from the high-performing kicker/punter's promotion will undoubtedly cause sales to soar.
A deal rumoured to be in the region of $1M a season, along with a top-spec model of said car (in the colours of Bondi Beach, which isn't a nice colour for a car but it's part of the terms, and with Bondi's logo on the hood) with a lifetime maintenance plan, all for 2 days of recording for ads and a clause that it must be driven to and from the stadium for every gameday.
When asked what the sponsorship money will be used for, Jenkins said: "It's going straight into training, it's where I've been lacking... it may sound like a lot of money but when everyone here in the league is using the best facilities and equipment, if I want to progress, I need to be able to do that too."
