With a couple of games behind us in the DSFL there seems to be a lot of attention surrounding one side of the league. The NFC North hosts four teams that are now only seperated by one game. Although, it is still early in the season it is cause for concern that the NFC North Champs from last season, Kansas City, currently sit at the bottom of that pile. Now, some people might think that Kansas City must have regressed and they are in for a long season. However, I think that this teams stock will only be increasing as the season goes on. With a well rounded draft class and with the talented Offensive Line Rookies of Glims and graVTx, this team is poised to sure up not only its offensive shortcomings, but also the defensive shortcomings it has been experiencing. As the season goes on and the TPE keeps flowing in for KC, their is no limit to what this team is going to be able to do, especially on the offensive end of the ball; provided Covington can keep the interceptions to a minimum. Through 3 games Kansas City leads the NFC North in Points For and is only sitting at 1-2 because of some defensive blunders, allowing a league high 124 Points Against. As the season goes on I predict that the defense will find its groove and that this team will be taking another trip to the Ultimini.
