While I'm not entirely sure that the sim upgrade is going to change the way the sim "plays", so to speak, I do believe that the hype and excitement of a new sim and new player archetypes is going to be a massive boost for the league. Since I got here in Season 11, there is no more consistent gripe I've heard than, "Get a new sim! This one sucks!" Well, we're finally here and I honestly am very excited about that means for the league as a whole. The first season with the new sim will be Charlemagne Cortez's rookie season with the Outlaws, so it will be interesting to see how that affects the level of play he's capable of. As far as predictions for the league, I'm not sure much of the hierarchy will change. Arizona will probably drop off some going from the retiring Jay Cue to Cortez, and we may see a team like the Silverbacks take a step forward, but I think things will stay pretty even overall. Hopefully, this switch to a new (and more detailed) sim will help with our retention rate and thus allow more opportunities for league expansion. All I know is that 2021 is looking up for the ISFL!
