The games that have been played so far are much more easier to watch than in years past in my opinion. It used to go by so quick that you could barely tell what was happening, but now they’ve toned it down and made a far more digestible viewing experience. The games have been great so far, with a fair amount of good offense and defense. Power backs are no longer liabilities, but speed is still king. The worst thing about the sims so far in my opinion, is that the stats for each player and team now fade in and out in the corners as opposed to staying on the screen the whole time like previously. Overall, the games are easier to watch, and more balanced while still retaining the same level of excitement that makes ISFL games a treat.
As for how my season is going, I’d say pretty well. As a member of the DSFL’s Bondi Beach Buccaneers, expectations were high coming into the season after winning the Ultimini, but we remain undefeated as of now, though we’ve only played one game. In that one game, I rushed for 38 yards on 7 carries, making the most of my limited playing time, and getting a few first downs to help the Bucs win against the Minnesota Gray Ducks.
