Hands down the biggest "what if" moment for me during my relatively short time in this league is: "what if I never applied for the Philadelphia Liberty General Manager job?" For those of you not familiar with the backstory here, I originally wasn't going to apply for the job for the reason that I assumed I had no shot in hell of getting it and that the league would want to hire someone with some more name recognition or some experience with league jobs. Heck, I remember when I was being scouted for both the DSFL and ISFL drafts that I had told scouts that I really didn't anticipate ever going for a league job as a way to make money (I had a respectable $50 million in the bank when I was drafted so money has never been tough for me).
If it wasn't for my good friend @"ShnarlyDude" telling me to apply for the job on a whim, I definitely wouldn't be in Philadelphia. Most likely I would have played out my contract in Arizona and then go look to test free agency along with Shnarly just to see what teams would give players like us in free agency.
In this dark timeline, Philadelphia is still in a prolonged rebuild (like we currently are) but I have a strong belief that the locker room culture and the overall attitude towards the team in the eyes of the league is still fairly looked down upon. Thankfully, HO made a horribly misguided choice and let me take the reins!
