In order to assess the future, you must understand the past.
Last season saw QB Jay Cue lead the league with more than 3400 passing yards. He threw for 15 TDs and only 8 interceptions. His rating was better than average at 79.7. Expected to be a top 2 receiver in S23, Saba Donut has more than 1100 TPE and is looking to improve on his 70/1191/5 campaign from last season; he will be in the mix for Wide Receiver of the Year. Add a stud RB in Baby Yoda, and the Arizona offense is set to explode on a weekly basis.
Moving to the defensive side of the ball, then-rookie Stan Koniecpolski was top-5 in tackles with 120 and forced multiple turnovers in S22. The team was great at pressuring the QB too; led by Pete “Plop” Miller with 12 (2nd in the league) and Galf Wilf with 9 last season, the Outlaws front six hopes to lead the league in sacks. Of course, you can’t talk about the Arizona defense without highlighting the leagues universally loved Zamir Kehla. Despite logging 4 interceptions, 12 passes defended, and a league leading 2 TDs, he was snubbed from the Defensive Rookie of the Year award. With that extra motivation, expect Kehla to continue to dominate in the secondary.
So, there you have it. With studs at every position, the Outlaws will make some noise in S23.
The future is bright in AZ! #SunsOutGunsOut
