So I think you understood the bonuses to always be, if you are writing an article with a higher word count, you should get a better bonus.
I don't think this is what it's designed for. It was designed to just get players to hit the 600-1000 word count.
After that they still get a bonus, but once the player starts going in to the really high word count range, those bonuses aren't as "word to money" effective. I think this is a good solution because I think if someone writes a really long article, they should get some kind of bonus, but I would much rather read articles in the 600 to 1000 word range and think the bonuses should reflect that.
Also as someone who has written a few articles, I like this payout structure because I have a pretty achievable goal, and I feel like I can cut fluff that isn't adding enough to my article without hurting my bank account.
