As the phone rings from McKyle’s old high school, St. Rita, he was informed that Coach K quit coaching by trying to punch a parent in the face after the rival team was outscoring the Mustangs 53-7. Coach K was a great coach but he was a little bit of a hot head. The athletic director on the phone wants McKyle to help finish off the season with the Mustangs by coaching the team for one game. This is a great opportunity to hone in on coaching and offense skills for the young quarterback while he spends his time in the DSFL. With a great offensive mind, the scheme of the Mustangs needs to change into more of an air raid offense rather than power running. They have a great quarterback and Wide receiver pair. A lot of conference defensive backs could not keep up with the pair but Coach K refused to move away from his schemes. Surely, this will work for the last game of the season and save the playoff chances of the team. During the actual game, the Mustangs were down in the half. Coach McKyle had to talk to the star players to clean up their game. If they want to make it to the next level they need to step up in their game. The Mustangs ended up losing the game after the quarterback got kicked out of the game for punching a ref. Must have rubbed off Coach K. The sports director offered the job to McKyle despite the loss. But McKyle cannot give up his dream to become an ISFL superstar for some hot headed boys in high school.
