We now head over to Shazam Hefner for his thoughts on the DSFL draft. Hit it, PSH.

Well, to be completely honest, this draft showed a hell of a lot of valor, love, respect, and stealing, which sounds like a Friday night at a Holiday Inn, but I digress. The first round showed high expectations that’ll probably be fulfilled. Graham Harper going first is a key indicator of just how big of a threat he’ll be in the back, and I, for one, am excited to see him tear it up. Speaking of defensive players, Kevin McThumper comes to mind as well - like Harper, the linebacker seems like a major threat to any offensive line, and I believe he’ll be in the running for ROY too. Some later rounds showed some key depth too: I gotta say, Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin brings a sort of vibe I haven’t seen since possibly Dan Campbell. I mean, the guys name is literally Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin, how can you say no to that? One of, if not the biggest draft steals was Derrick Prince. He obviously wants to do this, he’s incredibly active, and he, like Jarvis, has a great personality, especially in the time I interviewed him. It is a borderline crime that Bondi Beach got away with him. Mid-to-late rounds showed depth, the most notable of these being Tom Robinson for the SeaWolves and Jair Pharaoh for Kansas City. I can see most, if not all of the early rounders having a chance at the Rookie of the Year trophy. I just hope these guys live it up and do their best. Back to y’all in the studio.

Who has been the biggest steal of this draft? I mean its quite a simple answer, anyone drafted by the soon in the future ultimus winning yellowknife wraiths of course.
First of all we have kumquat archipelago, the wraiths first round pick at 4th overall, still quite a steal. when in the history of the isfl can you remember an immediate callup running back performing aswell as kumquat archipelago who already boasts 3 touchdowns in 4 games and a pretty solid ypc with 4.2?
The next steal is actually quite a crazy steal, with pmoney returning to the wraiths at 18oa with his player adebayo akinfenwa. how someone as successful with his past player as him can slip all the way down to 18th overall is quite a mystery, and most certainly a huge steal.
Picking up jack mcpherson at 46th overall is definitely also quite the feat in itself, with wfm being super active so id definitely call it a steal

The DSFL Draft finished up this past weekend, with the ISFL Draft happening the week before with both having some really big classes this time around. Who do you think will win the Rookie of the Year awards in either league? What team do you think had the best draft? Who is your prediction as the biggest steal that will come out of the draft?

I was a lot more interested in the ISFL draft than the DSFL one this season due to being in it. And so for that reason I'm naturally also hoping that I manage to pull off the rookie of the year. However, I switched positions which puts me at a distinct disadvantage with the temporary TPE hit, so I'm going to assume it won't be me. Looking at accumulated stats through the first four weeks, my current frontrunner is Swantavius Payne - 26 pancackes and no sacks allowed is pretty solid. Maybe not exciting, but I don't see anyone else putting up amazing numbers so I think that my pick is reasonable.
Biggest steal is another case where I have to excuse myself, seeing as I literally became a smaller Steal after the draft due to that switching positions thing. So from the other players, my current pick is Calvin Spiff - while not called up yet, Spiff looks to be the best TPE earner out of the third round which I think makes for a decent call as early steal pick.

Tijuana had the steal of the draft. They drafted the last living Hive God (Goddess?) Sava'thun. She is hell bent on taking over the galaxy or something and that ambition is pretty rad. I mean look at the NFLs top all-time point scorers. They're all kickers. Sava'thun is probably gonna break scoring record. Dominate the DSFL. Win kicker of the year over and over. Then go to the ISFL (hopefully not to my team cause she stinks like worm). And dominate ISFL kicking records there too. And when she's done in the ISFL I see her joining and taking over other sim leagues to crush any opposition that stands in her way. Glory to the Hive!

Also I got drafted to COL pretty late. I guess I'm not earning enough, but I have a pulse so probably a steal for COL. Plus I went to college there (yeah, chairs can go to college too! its a free country).
