As current GM of the Honolulu Hahalua, I would actively campaign to have @IceBear32 removed as GM of the team. I feel like he's holding me back. Being that I have to consult with another person on ideas time and time again is a waste of time. I'm a one man wolf pack. I could have traded away all of our draft picks in the matter of minutes if I was on my own. But no! I have to wait for IceBear to get done disc golfing for 12 hours in order to make a simple trade. I got championships to win! I got mouths to feed! I'm out here trying to make 200 IQ moves for the betterment of this team and they get shot down because I can't articulate how it would work, but in my mind it would work. Sometimes I have a problem explaining things! You know what!? So did Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind. Maybe IceBear should try to look into my brain to understand these things, but he won't even try because he's scared of the things that happen in there. Get the posters ready! It's time to #fireicebear.

Goat Tank was already a GM once for the Berlin Fire Salamanders and already has a winning record before he decided to finally abandon the team before they went into the season they have now. See, Goat Tank only wants to really be associated with winners so once he saw the team was no longer going the way he wanted, he jumped ship. That is really want you want in a GM anyway, right? Someone who only sees success and then abandons the team when that is faded. That way you never have to lose and can always just be a winner. That is why Goat Tank would be a great GM because he would only want to be a real winner and none of this silly losing stuff that you see elsewhere. Also Goat Tank has been there and done that before, so why wouldn't you go ahead and make him a GM again because of that?

Obviously all I said above is joking, please don't take it seriously.

ADS would be a fabulous general manager. I do not think the Second Line needs a change in the front office, but my player certainly has what it takes if the franchise ever comes calling. The way I see, the way my player sees it, well, the kicker sees all. The Kicker is out there, or well, at least watching, every snap and making calculations about the game. These calculations are given to other players on the sidelines to help them complete their game. The kicker gets to know players around the league and pick up on things that, say a lineman, does not pick up on. So, the kicker has a wealth of knowledge about the football game and can use it to their advantage when getting into dealings with other general managers across the league. If my player was the general manager, I would obviously like to win a championship, but more importantly, I would like to reward my kickers with fat contracts to make them the highest paid on the team. Nobody has looked at me as a GM in a long time, mostly because I've been MIA for a fair time. The last (and only) time I have been a GM was for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers, which during my tenure were relocated to Bondi Beach. While I was the resident GM we had mixed success, for the most part good things happened - we had a pretty good record through most of that time, and even won an ultimini. There were some... Questionable decisions and actions, but at the end of the day I always wanted to see my players succeed and enjoy the league as much as possible. It feels like a long time ago now that I was a GM, bit I think if I were called on and in a position to be able to dedicate the time to a team like I did then, I'd be a great candidate to return to a GM position once more.

What makes a great leader? What makes a great GM? In my opinion there are 3 (among others) very important factors for this:

• The ability to inspire others and building Trust & promoting equitable transparency
  
• The ability to make difficult decisions in pressure situations
  
• A relentless drive and will to succeed, never taking accomplishments for granted, and always wanting more
  

Cruella de Ville however, may not (yet) tick all of these boxes. She is know to be a bit erratic & impulse driven and certainly a bit renegade at time. However I suspect that this will change with time, as Cruella continues to grow as a person and as a human. There is some wonderful compassion inside of her somewhere, that also is an important leadership quality, and she certainly has that insatiable hunger to succeed at everything that she attempts. Ands she will stop at (almost) nothing to get there, making hard decisions along the way. If Cruella learns to control her tempers and generally treats others better around her, she will be a great leader one day, and may even become a GM.

Why should Booter McGaving be a GM? The answer is simple because he is the best at everything he tries. Booter was an academic all-american while at Williams College majoring in economics which makes him the perfect candidate to negotiate contracts with players and ensuring the team has top-tier cap management. Booter's golf ability will further help him in the gm role as everyone knows business deals are done on the golf course. Booter will be able to take players and their agents to his favorite country clubs around the globe to help seal the deal and secure top tier talent for his team. Finally, have you seen how attractive Booter McGavin is? There is no way a player can resist his smile and overall charm. Anyone that meets Booter would instantly want to play for his team and follow his vision to building a champion. Overall, Booter has the skills and personality to be an elite GM in this league and any team who wants to win should sign him up immediately.

I've been in the ISFL for over 4 years now and I think I've had pretty team friendly players and positions. First was a TE (Verso L'Alto) and second was a DE (Immanuel Blackstone). Both of them capped at the second highest tpe ever (both exceeded now, of course) and one is in the HOF (the second one hasn't been up to vote yet, but has a good shot), so I think I'm a pretty good earner and have demonstrated my ability to create a good player.  I also went to five straight Ultiminis as a DSFL GM (winning 3) and won an Ultimus or two as an ISFL GM. As a GM in the past, me and iseedoug implemented his QuickKetchup program which was a cornerstone of our success.  Yes, that was a different time in the league since it was so long ago, but since then I have been in DSFL HO for over two years now, so I have worked to stay up to date on what is going on in the league.  I think all of this means that I still might have what it takes to be a good GM.

Remi has vast experience with money, since that's his main area of study, and he worked as a financier for a number of years before deciding to move into gridiron football. So straight off the bat, you can count on him balancing the books perfectly. Aside from that, his decision to become an offensive lineman came from his realisation that there were transferable skills between playing center and competing in sumo. This kind of insightful analysis could prove to be a difference maker, if for example, he identifies a mismatch where others may have overlooked it. That actually ties into my next point, wherein being a sort of "outsider" to the sport, he views the game in a way most wouldn't, and therefore is better placed to identify something innovative, because he's more likely to challenge "accepted wisdom" simply because he's not bee conditioned to accept it (yet).

The final argument in favour of Remi becoming a GM is simply "connections". The man is the adopted son of the head of state of one of the most powerful nations on the planet. You best believe he has connections. You need a new stadium? He probably knows the guy who signs off on it. And if he doesn't, he probably knows someone who does, and can probably apply pressure to get the whole proces moving a bit more smoothly. Sure this is immoral and more than a little unsavoury, but ... again... he is the son of a monarch. You thought monarchs came into power through peaceful/moral means? Oh you sweet summer child...
