Another year, another season in the ISFL. It's been interesting to see how different players recover from season to season after multiple hits and strikes and to keep in shape after the regular season. For me as a defensive tackle, I have to balance being large but also keeping the athleticism so that I can make plays. To achieve that end, I wake up early every day during the offseason and commit to a stretching routine to wake myself up and to loosen myself up before I do exercise. Then, I engage in an hour long self yoga session in order to keep limber and help my agility stay high. In addition to the yoga session, I go on a daily 2 mile walk to relax and calm myself and then engage in distance running so that I can maintain my stamina and my weight as well so that I prevent it from fluctuating too much. Commitment to these routines helped me to be as dominant as I've been in this league!
