Well it is tough to have more goals when you have accomplished as much as I have, having been a space pirate, president of the galaxy and being the person to have survived the total perspective vortex to name just a few of the amazing things that I have done so what my goals are for this year are tough to say. I guess I would like to do better at this football career lack, especially when it comes to touchdowns, I always get a ton of yards as I am so great but the touchdowns have been somewhat more elusive. Yes I want to definitely score mor of those this year, I better have a word with old Lizzie our quarterback and get the old lady to throw some more my way. Other than that I am not really sure what to say, maybe drink more than 4 pan galactic gargle blasters without passing out?
At the risk of sounding like an entitled, uninformed, douche, I have set some incredibly high standards for Clint Mustache. Clint, being my fourth player, has a TON to live up, and I’m really hoping he does. My first two players (Owen Taylor and Johnny Snuggles) both were two of the best players at their respective positions (RB, CB) and were first-ballot Hall of Famers. My third player, BamBam McMullet, hasn’t been retired long enough to be considered for the Hall of Fame yet, but at the time of his retirement, he was ranked second (maybe third?) all-time in career sacks. Will that be enough to earn him, a bust? Who knows, but I sure hope it does. That leads me to my man, Clint Mustache. I speak with zero hyperbole when I say that my goal is to get him into the Hall of Fame. “But manic, everyone says that! And most of the time, it’s a giant scouting red flag when they do!” To that, I say, shut your filthy mouth! I actually mean it, and I’ve proven I can do it. Will it happen with Clint? No one really knows, but I can guarantee that he’ll be one hell of player either way.

My goal this year is absolutely aiming for the playoffs. Everyone on the team had a lot of hope last season after our strong start and we're hoping that a second strong start is enough to actually get us back. When it comes from turning hopes into plans, though, the inconvenient part is that there's not much I can do. I'm over 1100 TPE with only relatively marginal improvements left to make - I think at this point, sim luck and the rest of the team are more important factors. One other fun thing this year is watching the changes in the fantasy competition to have individual defensive players rather than just team defenses. As someone who's only had players on the defense, it's been fun to actually have my player on my team. So, I definitely hope that I manage to keep being good enough on the field to help win my group to get those extra TPE I claim I don't need that much. But really, that's ultimately tied back into the team doing well too, so in some ways it's more of a nice bonus than anything else. The goal for Notso Smart is pretty much the same as it’s always been: To win as many games and rings as possible. Any and all individual successes are just a bonus but not really chased. Naturally this begins in the DSFL, where I would ideally like to win and Ultimini with Dallas — potentially becoming the first user to do it with the two expansion teams?! It would be great to get it done but it’s obviously a very difficult championship to win, especially with how competitive and unpredictable our development league can be.
At the ISFL level, I’d like to get another couple of rings, which would always be a great career total for any player. While it’s great that Glenn Smart got two with Arizona (eventually), they don’t necessarily feel “earned” because I was IA towards the backend of his career and the player certainly wasn’t a pivotal part of the team at that point — especially the 2nd time around. This time, it’s about performing optimally for the team all over again and getting as much team-based success out of the player as possible, before it’s time to call it a day and put Notso to bed. After having to wait all the way until the fifth round, 38th overall to get selected. He knew he'd have to take his playing more seriously if he wanted to turn heads in the upcoming NSFL Draft, so he set himself a goal: get drafted in the first two rounds of the NSFL Draft next year. That would be an increase of at least ten draft spots to the last pick of the second round, and it would be a signifier that he made a good impression. And what was the best way to train? With a training montage. He went out in the frozen Minnesota countryside and did his workouts there, even though he had never been in weather below 50 degrees. He routinely ran through traffic, dodging car left and right. He drove to work with a live panther in the front seat. Whatever he needed to do to gain a competitive advantage over his fellow draft picks.

Pérez, like many others has the grand dream of won day winning an ultimus. One of the crowning achievements in the league, getting your own cup ring and forever being remembered as winning what the league is all about. Pérez missed out on an ultimus in Honolulu as he was still down in the minors in the season they won it before blowing the team up. He got close when last season the Berlin Fire Salamanders went on a miracle run to the finals, ultimately losing this final. Another goal would be to a contender for Wide Receiver of the Year, being recognized as one of the best within your position is a great honour and Pérez works hard every day, week in, week out. To be the best that he can possibly be out on the field. This season has not been fantastic yet, but 18th in yards and 4 TDs to boot are a decent start. Considering he has had a few weaker weeks already. Maybe with those weeks out of the way Pérez can go on a strong run of form, as last game was a 4 reception, 102 yards, 2 TD game. [196 words]
Like any reasonable person, Cruella had a heck of a holiday time, celebrating with friends and family, and most importantly eating, drinking, basically feasting all day (and night). Therefore, her first goal is to loose that winter fat through a rigorous exercise program, working out 3 times a day, working on core, fat burning, strength and agility, and working towards that ever elusive speed rusher trait. Building back up the muscle power and getting into the competitive mindset again are all immediate goals. A bit more medium term, she wants to make a big impact at LB this season, and is hoping to get to the Ultimus with the team. Next season she will aim to be in contention for the various yearly awards/get into the pro bowl for the first time, while prepping to make a permanent move to ROLB where she has shown flashes of brilliance this season. Overall, Cruella wants to continue getting better at everything she does.

As she gets on in age, Delores Bickerman's biggest goal for the New Year is probably just to stay alive and well. She is 100 years old, after all. Aside from that, she just plans to continue to show the young bucks how it's done through her feisty determination to vie for a spot on the receiving leaderboards alongside her esteemed partner in crime, Zaphod Beeblebrox. She doesn't expect any grand awards or anything, but does intend to make her mark on the league one way or another and support her team the best she can. The Austin Copperheads will continue to show the world that age really is only a number and take advantage of that rockin' Bickerman-Elizabeth senior duo out on the field as often as they can. No one should underestimate the power of these old ladies in football, they're ready and willing to take the league by storm in the New Year.
