Would Anakin Skywalker have joined the ISFL had he been granted the rank of master? It’s hard to tell, as the skilled force user is believed to be competitive enough to play Earth sports regardless of pride. But it’s fun to imagine how different the course of history would have been written had he not been snubbed. He may have finally found that acceptance that he had longed for since the day Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi brought him before the very same council as a boy. He could have still played football in the Milky Way galaxy as a way to ease stress in non-violent ways. One thing is for certain, this short-sighted decision by Mace Windu won’t linger on Anakin’s mind to the point where his football career will suffer. He remains committed to putting in the work required of an ISFL wide receiver. With the S43 ISFL draft coming up, it’s imperative that the focus remains on the grind.
Fireside chat with Bertie Mannering-Phipps on the Bondi Sports Network:
Interviewer: Bertie, it's hard to not be impressed with your rapid rise up the depth chart on the Bucs, even though you're still new to football. What do you think has made the difference for you mentally? BMP: Well, Sheila <gulps down the last of a pink gin>, to be quite frank with you, it's all down to daddy issues. My father made it very clear early on that he wanted me to become a better version of himself - exactly the same interests, just...better, so that he could brag about me to his friends. Now, croquet's fun and all, but it's hardly compatible with our modern times. When I got injured in the world cup of croquet a few years ago, he gave up on me as a failure. I could have gone crawling back and begged for his favour, but I made the decision there and then to leave my old life behind and ditch croquet entirely. I was going to stand on my own two feet and completely change my life around so I can stick it to papa. Is it going to be easy? Absolutely not - but thanks to my teammates, I'm learning what regular people my age occupy themselves with, rather than opera and gardening seminars. Perhaps soon I'll even go out to one of these 'night clubs' everyone keeps talking about! Interviewer: Alright, thanks for your time Bertie. Good luck in the last few games of the season!
Throughout his high school and college career, Maximus Boudreaux was never really a great football player. He was always a solid player, and a guy you'd love to have on your team, or in your locker room. But
Max was never the guy you'd expect to be out there competing for a championship, or throwing the game winning touchdown pass against a team rival in the closing seconds of overtime. Honestly, Max was content to let his athletic ability pay for his college degree. Finishing that without owing hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans would give him a let up on most of the rest of those in the rat race. It wasn't until his college coach sat him down his senior year and told him that even a career as a backup in the big leagues paid a lot more and would let him live a better lifestyle or retire early, and that he thought he could be successful. Without that motivation Max would be just another dude working to make a living like everyone else. 180 words

Carissa had already told her GMs early on that if they could get a good deal for her, to trade away. She loved New Orleans - the city, her apartment, her teammates, the arena, the fans - but she didn't truly have any roots and was fine with trying something new. When the Secondline began preparing for a new era, and the Outlaws reached out, she waited until management confirmed before packing up and shipping out. She's still in the south of the states so some things are the same, but most of her career is vastly different post-trade. She was kind of the young superstar on NOLA defense, and here in Arizona she's a supporter. The Outlaws have McTurtle and others who rule the field, and she does her best to follow their lead and support their plays. It means that she doesn't have the spotlight as much as she used to, but she's entering her golden years and her path has diverged.

Alright, well my player Joey din has had many many many life changing and game changing turning points throughout their time with both the Austin copperheads and the Minnesota GreyDucks, but one sticks out in particular more than any other. During his first season with the Minnesota GreyDucks he started out at the wide receiver position. Then they discovered their love for cosmic brownies. They absolutely loved those things and they were more hooked than a bass on a fishing lure. This didn’t help them with their dreams for the ISFL at wide receiver. They ended up gaining tons of weight. Their coach ended up calling them in saying you either lose the weight, get cut, or learn a different position and quick. They ended up settling on the Defensive end position and the rest is history, they excelled at the position and even ended up getting drafted in the first round.
There are so many what could have beens, especially for Blacksmith Andre. With the size, speed and strength he showed when he appeared in California, he could have played on either side of the lines, or even potentially could have been a secondary member. The coach that found him really needed offensive lineman help, and even though he never played for CAL, he still was able to get enough experience to show opponents that he was not one to be messed with on the Offensive Line. But there are always those what could have been, he could have potentially dominated on the defensive line, and potentially with his smarts he could have been an outstanding cornerback, where he could shadow other wide receivers and learn their moves and be able to lay traps to make sure that he could keep up with and shut down the opponents. It, for now, will always be a what could have been, since we don't know and he bulked up to be an Offensive Lineman.

Rico Savage started his football career as a youth playing Quarterback. All his training and practice was geared toward becoming the next great QB. However, once Rico got to High School, he was having issues with the shoulder in his throwing arm. After many consultations and discussions with his family and coaches, Rico decided to give up his pursuit of being under center. Knowing no other position, his head coach at the time suggested trying to play Safety as he could put all his QB knowledge he had accumulated to good use by reading and diagnosing a play from the other side of the ball. After some growing pains his junior year of high school, Rico got more and more comfortable and was able to always be in the right place at the right time, earning himself State records and awards. This simple move to Safety changed the course of Rico’s life and career.
"...TheRake may be the most controversial new player of the S41 class. Notorious not only for shamelessly tampering but also for confidently arguing his broadly incorrect NFL opinions, TheRake has managed to navigate the dangerous waters of controversy fairly well—which is no small feat!" - aeonsjenni
