It would be easy to say myself but like any young QB, you need to rely on your teammates and make sure you are developing nicely. I could say Oles or Flash but I think as I develop, those guys will become more and more prominent, more likely next season than this season, depending on the week. One thing as a young quarterback is having a ground game to rely upon on and with that, Jerrod Canton is my pick as the next breakout player. He is a rookie but will be relied upon early in his career as a primary back and with a rookie QB under center, he will have plenty of opportunities to shine in a more balanced offense. This team is growing steadily and the offense has plenty of talent. Time will tell on how the team will grow but one thing is certain, Canton is going to be a huge factor in the offense, both in the running game and in the passing game as seen in the last 2 weeks of the preseason where he caught some touchdowns. I believe in the end, he will win rookie of the year or come close to that level of production along with Joliet L. Christ to ensure the rookie of the year comes out of San Jose. Go Cats, Go Canton, let's get some wins!
Former players:
QB Joliet Christ Jr. (HON/BER) (1x Ultimus Champ)
WR Deondre Thomas-Fox (SJS) (2x Ultimus Champ)
QB Joliet L. Christ (SJS) (Hall of Fame) (1x Ultimus Champ)
While he's normally known under the pseudynoname of Krispy Kreme, Eddie Rainer has been making huge waves in the DSFL lately as he has begun to jump out as one of the premier receiving talents in the league. This can be expected for him the rest of the season as he is quite clearly one of the top offensive players in the league. It's hard to have a breakout when you're in your rookie season, but Rainer makes it look completely easy by playing with a level of talent that is normally only seen by seasoned verteran in leagues like the NSFL. Rainer has been working tirelessly with the quarterback and receiving coaches of the Kansas City Coyotes, the team that currently owns his DSFL rights and is becoming better and better as training camp progresses. With the team having just played their first two games of the season, Rainer currently stands as the #2 receiver in yards for the Coyotes, and has yet to post his first touchdown. You can look for him to play a much larger role in the next two games where he is expected to play a strong route running role as a slot receiver.i
Ah yes who will make that jump to stardom well I will tell you which player in the national simulation football league who is on the new orleans second line will reach stardom that is one man and that name of that on eman is none other than fyodorovich yes fyodorovich will make the jump from pretty decent corner back who never gets any interceptions to super crazy good and sexy wide receiver who also plays defense and gets interceptions that is my prediction this is because fyodorovich now plays wide receiver you see he focused almost exclusively on his wide receiver skills instead of his corner backing skills and partnered with the man the myth the legend borkus maximus the third that is why I believe fyodorovich will erupt into stardom this season because of the aforementioned reasons fyodorovich will go from a good player to a star because now he is a wide receiver and willa ctually get himself some stats you know that is why he will be a star this year when he previously unforutnately was not a star for the new orleans second line of the national simulation football league but now he will be a star for the new orleans second line of the national simulation football league.

Quote:Written: Must include 200 words. As the season starts write about a player that you expect to take the jump to stardom. Turk Turkleton, you might have heard of him. He has been in the league for quite some time now and won a few awards here and there, but never has he truely been part of the good kids. Sub-par is another way of describing his career in the NSFL, but that might all change this season. After years of training it might look like Turk has finally hit a point of peaking in his career. Experts call the level of a players abilities tpe and it finally looks like Turkleton has reached the optimal tpe levels in his level of play. For years his TPE just did not cut it for the kicker, but now with his newly reach levels of tpe it has to change. Despirite all of this in week one of this season he already missed an extra point kick, but just ignore all of that for a second and just think of the fact that optimal tpe levels have been reached for him and he`s probably looking at a 100/100 record from here on out, week one was a fluke and flukes happen, fuck the sim amirite. This is not a drill, Turk Turkleton's dominance is about to start.
You could call me a homer here, but in the end it doesn’t really matter. San Jose has a lot of players poised for a break out, you can go the offensive side of the ball, where you have Xavier Flash, Kashmir Oles, Joliet Christ, or even Jarrod Canton. Any of them would be an outstanding player to have such a break out season for such a potentially good, even great offense. Instead, we will look at the other side of the ball in San Jose. With Danny Methane, Ben Horne, Kolby Deringer, Xandra Troyski and D’Pez Poopsie, any of them could be break out stars at any moment. Kolby could break out and make a running at MVP after his Defensive Rookie of the year campaign last season. Instead, we will look at the secondary, and more particularly D’Pez Poopsie. He has been a vocal leader in the locker room, and he has already started to show it on the field. He is the first one out on the field and the last one to leave it, and even if it is only two games into the season so far, he is leading the league in pass deflections. Yes, yes, we know D’Pez doesn’t have any interceptions yet, but he continues to hit the jug machines and work on his hands as well. D’Pez is going to be a force in this league, and hopefully the sophomore slump doesn’t affect him.

Look for Kevin Fitzpatrick to make a big splash out in the Arizona desert this season. It seems as though the Outlaws as a team are steadily improving, allowing their young signal caller to really have a chance to shine. He started out strong in the preseason, leading his team to two victories in the four games. He played great in three of the four games, failing to throw less than four touchdown passes in only one game against the Orange County Otters. He even managed to shred the lauded New Orleans Second Line defense for over ten yards a pass and four touchdowns. One of Fitzpatrick's main weapons this season, especially in the red zone, should be tight end Balthazar Crindy. Crindy has also been steadily improving and should give Fitzpatrick a reliable end zone target. After making such a splash in the preseason, it is good to see that he has kept some of the magic alive when the games matter. Over the first two games of the season, Fitzpatrick has thrown three touchdowns to just one interception. If he can keep that kind of ratio going for the rest of the year, he could end the season as one of the league's premier passing talents.
