In his second year in the DSFL Yulic Nagasawa seems to have taken a big step. After being drafted by the Baltimore Hawks he wanted to impress. While he was sent back down to DSFL he said he is going to work and make it tough for opposition to stop him. While the Hawks definitely aren’t in need of him this season as they are still one of the favorites to win the league once more. But while the Hawks are dominating in the NSFL, Nagasawa is trying his best to dominate the other league. With only 19 catches in 4 games he leads the league 383 catching yards and averages 20.2 yards per reception. He has found some chemistry with a young QB in Boechler. As he gets better each year, Baltimore fans want can only wait and see how he adjusts when he joins the NSFL team permanently. It seems this young superstar in the making is getting faster and faster his training has been shown as he has been burning some CBs in the DSFL. “Yea I do good but I still need to get better. Like right now I would not be good in NSFL I’m just not there yet. But if I keep getting better I know I can be good there too.”
You heard it here, my player Sam Hardwick yes the Pythons Receiver Sam Hardwick will not only take over the DSFL this season but he will take the NSFL over as well, it makes sense and here is how. First of all I have been a dedicated member for the most part, when Jonathan King was still striving and playing I was gaining TPE at a high rate and I believe I could have hit 750 with him if it were not for some personal problems, im back though for a while and do not plan on missing any activities that can earn me some TPE. Reason two is that in a league filled with a lot of wide receivers now I know that speed receivers are the current meta like everyone else the only difference is I know where to spend my TPE first to make Sam outshine the other receivers. If that does not convince you than maybe his stats will, as a lowly 83 TPE player Sam is currently number 13 in total receiving yards four games into the season with 153 yards and with only 16 receptions, let me put that into perspective in the top 13 there are 7 players with more catches than him and if Sam had the same amount he would be ahead of them. If I gotta pick a breakout player this season I'm going to go with rookie RB sensation John Canton. Canton is coming into SJS to replace their last rookie RB who retired out of nowhere. Having not really had their franchise guy for a very long time now the Sabercats were in need of a strong reliable option to lead their backfield, and I think they found the guy. Canton is already performing strong through the first 4 games of the season, and I don't expect his pace to slow down. I wouldn't be surprised to see him finish the season with 1500, maybe 1600 yards, and double-digit touchdowns. Add in a handful of receptions and maybe a score through the air and you're talking about a fantasy football back that likely went undrafted or was available in the late rounds that will end up winning a lot of leagues. While he isn't getting the same volume of last year's rookie mindfuck Marquise Brown, he will certainly create some waves in his own way and I think he'll rush his way to the rookie of the year title and become a perennial first round fantasy selection for many seasons to come.

In a league where the stud defensive tackle is becoming hard to find, Shane Trigg has the potential to usher in somewhat of a renaissance. Standing at 6’5”, 310 lbs., Trigg is a big-body player with speed, instinct, and hands that are indicative of his generational talent. A three-year starter at the University of Colorado, Trigg leaves the Buffaloes as their all-time leader in tackles, sacks, and quarterback pressures. A native of Castle Rock, Trigg will forever live in infamy with Coloradans following a junior season in which he led the Buffs to their first Rose Bowl in years and took home the Chuck Bednarik Award as nation’s top defensive lineman.
Shane Trigg figures to be an NSFL superstar because of opportunity. He’ll take the field in Season 12 and figures to immediately start. Although he may struggle as a young player, the early experience will pay off and by year three, Trigg is expected to be a chiseled veteran that can anchor any defense to a championship. Trigg has been lauded by his college coaches as being a high character player that is extremely coach-able and a team leader. He was raised by Colorado ranchers and has a work ethic that is extremely unique. Be on the lookout for Shane Trigg to not only make an immediate NSFL impact, but emerge as an All-Pro early on his career. 229 words
Who do I think will make the jump to stardom? Well that's not really fair because this dude's such a beast already, people don't appreciate him yet outside of his own team. That man is the one & only Jerrod Canton. Moments after falling to the SaberCats at 18th overall in the S11 Draft, Canton vowed that he would devour the rest of the league & make them regret passing on him. Boy has he ever done that?! So far this season, Canton has taken the league by storm, rushing for an astounding 464 yards & 4 touchdowns on 115 carries in his first 4 NSFL games. In fact, he's rushed for 100 yards or more in all 4 games. Now it's easy to point fingers & say he's only racking up these monstrous numbers because the SaberCats have little faith in their young quarterback (& there's definitely a point to be made there because Christ is also a rookie working with a mostly young receiving corps), but believe me when I say Canton will only get better as his career progresses. This is just a sneak peek into the kind of dominance he's capable of when pounding the rock.
