I'm back with the series that was planned to be seasonal thing, but other circumstances and my overall limited sim league activity forced it back a bit in time.
Preferably I'll catch up to it one day, especially since following the biggest S1 and almost a 100 people S2 draft next ones were much smaller until very recent fantastic S15 draft. Such delay isn't the worst either, since we now know for the most part which players ended up in HoF, though some still are awaiting theirs induction, because they are not eligible quite yet since they played maximum amount of season.

S2 Redraft 58-29 Part 2: Fillers of necessity
S2 Redraft 28-21 Part 3: Good and better
In case you missed it: links to S1 Redraft, especially for newer guys, series is rather repeatable, but especially last few parts contain more information about players, including some GOATs that already ended their careers.
S1 Redraft - 137-100 Part 1: Literally irrelevant
S1 Redraft - 99-70 Part 2: The gone before S5 part
S1 Redraft - 69-40 Part 3: First Regression Fighers
S1 Redraft - 39-15 Part 4: It's getting better!
S1 Redraft - 14-1 Part 5: Crème de la crème
Let's remind the rules:
We know about who this article will be about, but how I decided to grade players? There will be 4 factors - 3 majors and 1 minor. Due to the sheer amount of players in that draft (93), please forgive me judgment calls in category number 3 & 4, especially since I'm only around since Season 6 and don't have much knowledge about first 5 seasons. The categories:
- Peak TPE/100 - Top mark was 13,75
- Career longevity - 0-12 score depending on seasons spend in the league
- Career quality - 0-13 the first of judgment calls, basically non-factor is going to be 1 (0 if never suited), 2 was a bit better than replacement level, 7 made some pro-bowl and 13 is HoF caliber player. I tried to be lenient in this category, but once again - I'm not writing a dissertation about particular players, just trying to give a nice window back into S2 draft to have revived some memories, find biggest steals, busts and have something to write about. I put also a lower emphasis on the first few seasons since the low TPE levels surmount to really random results.
- Activity Grade - 0 to 5 score, where 0 equals lack update page, 3 was somewhat active and 5 was always active throughout the career, preferably with some bigger roles within organization or the league
I'll try to write a few words about more interesting players, but more often than not I'll just be using the template I prepared for the occasion. One more note is that searching through these old days wasn't easy and I might have missed some seasons if players position switched for example, for such mistakes sincere apologies and feel free to correct me!
- Some teams passed in the later parts of the draft, so redraft relative change of spot might be a bit inaccurate, because of that
Time for the final edition, just post the expansion draft to give some reminiscence to people that many already recreated and finally with some Hall Of Fame worthy players, hopefully this time I won't find any Er multis... Without further ado let's bring them in:

It's a weird case of player being so active and good that it backfired - Bork would be ranked several position higher TPE wise, if not for retirement when he took the reins of New Orleans Second Line and recreated as HoF lock QB Borkus Maximus. Still, he was a force & active in those years, even if gathered just 4 points for longevity.

Time to start Top 15 with rather controversial player that was utilized by the Otters as receiving back, in a strategy that forced a rule switch. Quick ending to the career and splitting time as OL was among reasons he didn't make it to the Hall of Fame (albeit received 8 votes)

Linebacker of the year in the S6 and huge player in S9 NOLA run wasn't quite able to make it to the HoF and was dropped out of the ballot in S14 voting - maybe additional season or two could make a difference, but we'll never know.

Feel good story with redemption arc, after he was sidelined, pulled out very successful switch from WR to RB winning Running Back of the Year back to back in S8 & S9, as well as Ultimus Champion in S9 & S11, while setting several records on the way. Just inducted into HoF in the S15 ceremony as the first NOLA player ever.

3rd player in the row that was huge in Second Line transition as a franchise and big cog in S9 run (also explains why NOLA fell of the cliff after S11/12, with so many players retiring due to regression without selling too many to recoup the loses). Career ended a bit early, which hurt his HoF chances a lot, a rare exception to the over 1k TPE players.

S7 Champion that led Liberty to the title - and retired soon after. Similarly to the Evans short career wasn't enough for the Hall of Fame honors, but he was dominant player in his prime, even if he didn't win any positional awards.

And the biggest steal of S2 draft goes to the Yellowknife picking fantastic offensive player - S5 offensive player of the year and one of the top earners in the league that fortified YKW position as contender and unquestionable winner of this draft (Hawks being close 2nd). I'm not exactly sure why he didn't get any HoF considerations.

Greatest ever Tight End in league history, set probably unbreakable record of 7 straight Tight End of the year awards (S3-S9 span) and won multiple titles with Liberty & Second Line. Induction is just waiting for his eligibility, which should be next season.

Time for the Top 3 and we start with just inducted franchise QB, that started as OL and ended as CB, tough these were just episodes and he is among most clutch performers in the playoffs, tough never won Quarterback of the Year, since Hawks offence was often more run-centric, but more about this in a moment. Still, when you pull Top 3 pick in 4th round it's a great value.

The reason why Blocksdale was sometimes overshadowed is 6 time winner of Running Back of the Year award and two times offensive player of the year. Similarly to the DiMirio he is still waiting (albeit a season more) for his eligibility and should be a no-brain first ballot Hall of Famer - fantastic career and GOAT RB.
Player name: Dermot Lavelle - username: @White Cornerback

Redraft Position: 1 - Change: 0
New Highest score (previous was 42,22 by the Angus Winchester) is one more greatest of all time at his position - Lavelle is gold standard for Cornerbacks, and while Defensive Back/Player of the Year award isn't screaming that, he was always a Pro-Baller and is all over all-time leadearboards in position specific achievements. Stayed his entire career in Yellowknife and was beneficiary (or as some more informed people will tell you - cheated) as due to the rules at the time he was S2 regression class, while playing entire S1 with the team. Still, he gathered maximum score across the table and this score might wait until S7 class gets judged to be beaten.
Time for a bit of summary and let's see when players played their final season:
Lion share was out of the league after initial season (and even didn't play that year), and another big point was when regression started ramping up in S9/10.
How about position popularity?
Ton of OL, which maybe caused a rather low overall activity and class being rather top heavy.
YKW with gigantic gain, while BAL had plenty of reaches two of Top 3 picks should give them a big leeway and still be considered among draft winners.
Finally let's see which original position gathered most TPE on average:
Okay that's it for the 2nd edition of the series, hopefully everyone enjoyed it, I didn't offend anyone and haven't missed too many details impacting the score, S3 edition will come in non-determined date.
Preferably I'll catch up to it one day, especially since following the biggest S1 and almost a 100 people S2 draft next ones were much smaller until very recent fantastic S15 draft.

Another longstay, that I remember for picking in fantasy during my first years. Score could probably be higher for quality, but to be honest I might have a bit of recency bias and look at HoF votes and awards.

Time to start Top 15 with rather controversial player that was utilized by the Otters as receiving back, in a strategy that forced a rule switch. Quick ending to the career and splitting time as OL was among reasons he didn't make it to the Hall of Fame (albeit received 8 votes)

Feel good story with redemption arc, after he was sidelined, pulled out very successful switch from WR to RB winning Running Back of the Year back to back in S8 & S9, as well as Ultimus Champion in S9 & S11, while setting several records on the way.
