The Portland Pyhtons are comming off of a disappointing 5-9 season, but I am optimistic that this team can make a playoff push in. The defense lost a lot of talent in the offseason, meaning that much of Portland's defense is comprised of rookies. It will surely be interesting to see how these rookies play and develop over the course of the season. On the offensive side of the ball one of the biggest new additions is QB Sam Howitzer. The young QB has a solid supporting cast around him. One such player who seems poised to have a breakout season is WR Videl-San. Returning for his second season on the Pythons Videl-San is already stating the season off on the right foot, with 5 receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown after week one. I don't think it would surprise many to see Videl-San as the DSFL WRoTY at the end of the season. On the other side of the ball despite a slower start to the season LB Omar Wright Jr could possibly have a breakout season. Playing alongside Henrich Kackpoo last season Wright Jr. amassed the most tackles in the DSFL, so it will be interesting to see how Wright Jr develops without the help of Kackpoo.
First of all, I play for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. And for the love of God I hope we do better than we did last season. We were supposed to be a power house last year but turned in to an out house. The gods hated us for sure.
This year we have a new QB named Joe. He seems to be pretty OK. We return both of our starting running backs and also all three of our starting wide receivers. Our offensive line might be one of our biggest weaknesses
They all seem super boring and like the might be clones or something because they all look alike. We also have a new tight end so he might struggle a little bit but we'll help him through. It's so weird to be considered a vet now. It seems like I just started my own journey a few short months ago and now I'm starting my third season. Anyway, we lost some quality people on defense but the new rookies seem very promising. The defensive line is all rookies but they are practicing hard. The line backers are roided up vets so they will be holding us their shoulders thus season. We have a returning corner but he seems kinda spacey sometimes and a stud at saftey. Overall good but probably not great. I see us making the playoffs and with luck we go deep. We have contenders for RBotY, LBotY, and maybe DBotY. That's a thing right?
Entering the S23 season, the Baltimore Hawks have plenty of reason for optimism. After an S22 season that saw mostly struggles, the Hawks had minimal losses this past offseason, while their young roster continued to accumulate TPE. While the loss of wide receiver Errol Maddox hurts, Asher Quinn has been waiting for his chance to shine, and Nick Kaepercolin, who spent last season with the London Royals, has already amassed 500 TPE and will be a great second option this season. At quarterback, Chika Fujiwara is still one of the youngest quarterbacks in the league, however they have been gaining TPE steadily and should fare much better than last season. It doesn’t hurt that he has one of the best offensive linemen in the league in Byron Dolls blocking for him. On defense, the Hawks are quite young, and should also be improved this season. Young players such as De Ville, Annastesia, Stackinpaper, Hole, and Avery all saw extensive playing time last season, and should only be better this year. On top of that, rookies Tyler Montain and CJ Riley have joined the team and addressed serious positions of need for Baltimore. While the Yellowknife Wraiths and Colorado Yeti seem destined to represent the NSFC in the playoffs this season, that 3rd spot is very much up for grabs. Look for the Hawks to be in contention for that final spot right down to the end of the season.
We are talking about our teammates? Alright but i'm only going to be telling the truth, no lies whats so ever. Let’s start with the offense (the best fense)
For quarterback we have my main man, Old Man Cue. Honestly, he doesn’t get enough credit for his play. He’s had 2 seasons where he was an most valuable player candidate and in one of those he was clearly snubbed. However, his main job this season is to throw the ball to me. If I get the ball he's getting his paycheck.
Now moving onto running backs, we have the fan favorite Baby Yoda. Who doesn’t love the child? No seriously, who doesn’t like him. He is by far the most powerful player on the field. One time I saw him fling Galf Wilf off of the field just because he was in his way. That being said, he needs to learn how to control his power.
Moving onto the wide receivers, we have the best wide receiver in the league Saba Donut. You already know about my influence on the field so I’ll just skip over to the next one.
Jah Bur’Berry doesn’t get enough love to be honest. He is the best second wide receiver in the league by far. Not only is he near the top for most yards in this season, he also is near the top for touchdowns. This dude is so underrated and deserves more respect.
