Well, Chicago started the season with lofty expectations and the stock market reflected that. Stocks were flying off the proverbial shelf and now things have been cooled off, much like Chicago's start. But, they've had a couple of big wins in recent weeks so I expect that stock to continue to sell at a fantastic rate. If the offense can get some momentum going, there won't be any stocks left to buy. It will be like Jordan Belford in Wolf of Wall Street, crawling to his super sports car jacked up on ludes. Just wait, though. If Chicago gets it rolling, those stocks will pay dividends for buyers. If not, stockholders may be completely and utterly screwed. I think a player to watch for stockholders would be Baby Yoda. He has been an absolute stud in the backfield since we played together in Minnesota. He's a new addition to the team, but when he's playing well, he is the engine for our offense. On the defensive side, Eric Andrews and Tyron Shields are a nightmare for aerial offenses. If all of those guys have a good stretch of games, Chicago can turn into the value buy everyone thought they were before the season got underway. But, because I'm a homer, I'm hanging on to my stocks no matter what happens.
Silver Banana is the Goat and all I can say is that his stock is still sky high at this point in the season. Outside of one small blemish on his record, Naner man has hit all kicks and the one miss that he had was from 50+ where he historically has been elite from and therefore we can chalk this one up as a total fluke. Some at the start of the season did not expect him to be the elite of the elite when it comes to kicking as evident of him being left on the board in many fantasy groups until late in the draft when he is clearly a first round pick, but to this point he has left all others in the dust interms of his elite kicking ability. Look for him to make a push ofr kicker of the year and punter of the year in the ISFL as he has been the best in both categories this season. His stock is clearly on the rise and teams need to be on the look out for other new kickers who might be able to compete with Naner in the future in order to be able to win a close game with the Yeti.
I think that the best investment for your future and the future of you bank account is investing in the career of Kansas City Coyotes RB King Tut. The reason I believe you should be investing the career of this young Running Back is because after 4 games the rookie has 40 carries, which is an average of 10 per game, and he has a total of 205 yards, which is 5.1 yards per carry and about 51 yards total per game. These stats, along with the 2 touchdowns he has scored so far and his career long 21 yard carry, prove that King Tut, who is only in his rookie year, has a huge upside in the future and might even provide a return if you don’t sell quickly, this year. Now the even more magical thing is the fact that currently the Running Back King Tut is not the starting Running Back for the Kansas City Coyotes, he mainly plays FB and backup RB for the team, so these stats are very noticeable for someone wanting to buy stock in a player that has high potential and is definitely very cheap right now as most people don’t value him as they most definitely should.

There has been no bigger surprise in the immense success seen by one team than the Sarasota Sailfish, who starting out the season 6-0 after a 50/50 season, their stock has risen through the roof. Whilst dropping their seventh game of the season against the New Orleans Second Line at home will see their stock take a small tumble, their incredible rise to the top record in the league is breathtaking.
Sarasota’s stock value would have been consistently increasing as they racked up their six straight victories, but where did this come from? Looking into why they were so successful out of the gate, there are two strong points that highlight their on-field success, the Quarterback Dexter Banks II and their defensive unit. Firstly, Banks has steered the Sarasota offence masterfully as he hits his prime year, having passed for the most amount of yards, 2074, for any quarterback so far, whilst including 10 TD thrown and 1 he rushed himself. On the rushing side, Banks has also ran the most yards for any QB imposing himself as a duel-threat leader of the offence. On the other side of the ball, the entirety of the Sailfish defence has only let in 96 points across 7 games, an average of 13.7 points per game. This is the lowest points conceded out of any team, and when your opponents can’t score and your QB can rack up yards like no other can, the only way the team can goes is up. As a result, Sailfish has left the league stunned and their stock value soars as they look to charge into the playoffs full steam ahead, in heaps for their first Ultimus birth and, whilst just under halfway in, look to have a real shot at winning it all for what is arguably a very young franchise.
So we’re four games into the season and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag for the London Royals. As with any draft which is looking at rookies it’s sometimes difficult to judge how players will perform, and in particular how they will improve week on week. It’s looking like the London Royals have made good decisions on the draft board thus far, and I’m saying this despite the shock double loss a week ago. Sure, you’d expect early round picks to be in the mix and this is certainly the case for the London Royals. But it’s the draft picks from the later rounds which are really adding true depth to the roster and it may well be these players which see the team go on and have a very productive season – complimenting the old guard in many respects. We’ve seen glimpses on the field so far; the demolition of the Dallas Birddogs appeared to be more of a coming together, more of things starting to click, players delivering what on their promises. Will they continue their rise over the next few games? Only time will tell in that respect. But if I was a neutral I’d be keeping an eye out and taking note on what may be achieved over in England this season.

This season is in full bloom, as we are almost approaching the half way mark on the year. The dust is beginning to settle and teams are getting a good idea of where the stack out compared to their competition. I would be remiss if I didn't mention New Orleans first. To this point, we are sitting at 5-2 and atop of the strong ASFC. Going on the road and beating the undefeated (at the time) Sarasota Sailfish went a long way in pushing towards league dominance. That word is a bit strong, implying that the rest of the league is far behind which is not the case. Things are as tight as ever and I think as many as 3-5 teams can feel like they are the best in the league this season, though it does feel like NOLA and Sarasota are at the front of the pack for now.
Two teams to highlight are the already mentioned Sailfish and the Liberty. Sarasota has been nothing but hot this season, starting out 6-0. They have to huge statement wins, going on the road to both Colorado and Austin for victories early on. I do feel like they are over-performing though and might not finish at the top of their conference by the end of the season. They are 8th in the league in both total and TPE per player. They have it in the right places which certainly helps, but I think other teams with more overall TPE will close the gap. Still, it has been fun to see them in action and it will be worth watching just how far they go this season. Expansion teams generally take a few seasons to get fully up and running, but it looks as if they are ahead of schedule. The other team mentioned is Philly. I'm just gonna be honest and say I feel terrible for them. They do have the least TPE per player, but it is marginal compared to those ahead of them. Their top 6 players are on offense, so I would have guessed that they were able to get things going a little more on that end. Defensively, they have some insane future talent that are already starting to bloom. It hasn't shown up this year yet, but they will be a dominant force soon. They have an elite safety and corner, followed by another 2 very solid corners. They also have some young front 7 players that show a ton of promise. Philly will turn this thing around in due time, just have to stick with the course.

Philadelphia Liberty experiment with revolutionary new defensive strategies, ultimately lowering stocks in a gambit to upset the status quo.
