For this task, there is two teams that come to mind. The first one is the Chicago Butchers. Not a surprise, I'm sure most people expected them to do good. I haven't actually seen the statistics, but I believe the Butchers were the most invested in team before the season started. And there were reasons that people expected them to do good. They were already the worst team last season and one of the lowest stocks, if not the lowest (I'm not actually checking) and they made some additions to the team thanks to the draft. Their quarterback also gained tpe, as most players do. Now that we're 7 games into the season, it's pretty clear the Butchers haven't actually improved. Their offense is having a tough time putting points on the board, and with only 96 points for, they're dead last. They currently have a record of two wins and five losses, second last in the league behind the Philadelphia Liberty, another surprise, at least for me, but not the one I'm talking about next. The second big surprise for me this season is the Sarasota Sailfish, but this time it's for a good reason. The Sailfish currently have six wins and one loss, the best record in the league. In my season predictions, i had the sailfish finishing fifth in their division, so I'm not even close. The Sailfish are doing better than their expansion counterparts and if they can continue this success they have a pretty good shot to take home the league championship.
