I think getting rid of awards is idiotic. You can be mad that there's controversy every year but that happens in real life too. Look at the endless debate around the 2010 Cy Young Award or Altuve Vs Judge.
I know I'm using baseball instead of football but that's just because I follow baseball more closely in real life.
Honestly, the idea delaying the awards shot or discussion an extra week wouldn't be a terrible idea.
Also a few positive things coming out of the sim switch: Freedom of Depth Chart makes the whole, "did you qualify at this position" argument a little easier Playbooks allow players to produce at their actual listed positions, especially pass catchers* *I bring this up because there usually is a argument when it comes to RBotY if one player has a lot of receiving yards, and in DDSPF16 that typically only happens if they are spending significant time at WR, but with the change to the new playbooks this is not necessary anymore Analysis charts as well as new stats for Defensive players can paint a clearer picture for player performance. For example, if you're a Cornerback with 100 tackles, the common belief is it's because you sucked at pass coverage. Now you can back that up or refute the claim a little easier by looking at the new stats and also the tackle chart. (01-15-2021, 12:31 AM)infinitempg Wrote: Not a bad idea tbh.
