For me, it simply has to be London. Not only is it my hometown but it’s also one of the greatest cities in the world and over the last 30 years, it’s begun to develop a much closer connection to football than any other city outside of North America. The location could be either Wembley Stadium or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, both of which have history in terms of hosting football games — Afterall, Wembley is the home stadium of the Royals. It can’t hurt to have home field advantage for the Ultimini either, so this works out on every level from my point of view!
In terms of half the halftime show, I think it would have to be Adele, Ed Sheeran and Paul McCartney — with Adele being the headliner, as I don’t think ol’ Paul has a 20 minute set left in him. There’s not gonna be any of this high flying dangly stuff from cables. We’re far too civilized for such nonsense. Adele, on a stage, with a microphone and maybe a piano. Ed Sheeran and Paul McCartney making cameos. Simple, classy and a sight to behold — much like my island. Everyone in attendance should be provided with a free cup of tea at half time, even if only for the memes.
