So without the benefit of being able to watch anything more than just a dot moving on the screen, it's really hard to tell exactly what plays are real highlight worthy spectacles and which are just routine performances, especially with regards to regular defensive plays like tackles and defeating blocks. However, there are certain types of plays that even when mundane are still pretty cool to see, one of which is a safety's bread and butter, the interception. My player, Cole Maxwell #20 of the Dallas Birddogs only snagged one pick this year, but it was really a doozy, especially since I'm not 100 percent sure he didn't go rogue in coverage to get it. Week 6 against the Portland Pythons, with 14:42 left in the fourth quarter, I genuinely don’t know what my player could be doing, maybe some sort of weird flat zone coverage or a safety blitz he bailed on when he saw the QB start to throw? No idea but either way he hops right in the throwing lane in front of WR #83 running a slant route to snag the pick and return it for 7 yards before being tackled. What I like most about this play is the Polomalu-esque behavior displayed where my player just kind of feels out what is happening before making a big play for his defense
