2) Tell us about your draft class. Is there anything that makes it special in comparison to other classes? Where did your fellow draftees land, how are they doing? Did anyone turn out to be an unexpected steal of that draft based on what you know today? Do you think anyone in your draft class will become a hall of famer? If you’re new to the league, how do you think your class will do? Where do you think people will get drafted to?
I must say, my draft class is hands down the best one I have seen since I joined this here league. Season 25 was a reddit class, and pretty darn big, now I know you old timers will feel the need to let me know that it is not the biggest one, that was something season 22 or some such. But, here is the deal, I was not around for that, so it does not matter to me. From my experience, this draft class has been the biggest one, and has a lot of players currently in the ISFL starting as the number one or two guy in their position on each team. Hard to argue with that, just go check the team page and look at how many season 25 guys are on each team. It is quite a lot to be honest. We even have some household names finally. We had some wide receivers in the top twenty for receiving, we had some really good performing corner backs out there. We even had a season 25 quarterback out there on the field finally. Which is really cool, as it seems to take the longest to actually develop into starters for the ISFL. Plus we lost quite a few of the old guys ranging back to seasons sixteen, seventeen, and eighteen. I believe season twenty one is regressing and soon to be season twenty two. So, more and more of us season 25ers are going to be getting into our prime and really showing what we can do as the stars. Granted, I do know a lot of us are stuck behind max earning jerks from season twenty three (I am looking at you darkness), but it still gives us a chance to shine a little bit. I know on my team we have two season twenty five corner backs holding it down, we got me a solid wide receiver two, and a running back from our class. But, that is all on the field stuff, which is not what defines our class as a whole. It is the fact that we have a lot of new users that joined that season. So instead of a ton of recreates, that reddit class brought in a lot of new faces to the game. Not only are there lots of newer players out there on the field, we now are getting more and more involved in the league as a whole. Some of the users jumped in and became rookie mentors from the start, others jumped in and did wiki updating to help make some money. Then you have the guys who became head office interns or helping with the more involved stuff. I know of at least three season twenty five guys that are GMs of DSFL teams this coming season. To me, that is one of the best parts of the class, that we have a lot of guys who jumped in brand new to the league and are now becoming a major part of it. And for all of us season twenty fivers out there, this is only our fourth season in this league, and we already have multiple guys running developmental teams for the coming season. I know there are a lot of great users I have met from all the seasons, but most of the ones I am closest with are the guys I came up with in my first season in the DSFL. My Tijuana Luchadore brothers are one of the main reasons I stuck around beyond the very beginning. Not only that, getting drafted to a ISFL team and making buddies on that team has helped a lot as well. Will the season twenty five group go down as the best ever? Most likely not, but we will be regarded as one of the top draft classes this league has seen for a long time. There is no doubt in my mind, that after we are done, we will have some guys at or near the top TPE ever gained. I can not wait to see how many from season twenty five end up in the hall of fame and of course on the record board. And then on top of that, how many of us will go on to be ISFL GMs of these storied teams? I also know we had a lot of draft day steals because of how large our class was and of course due to the number of inactives that just did not stick around long enough to actually like it. As of right now, I do not know exactly who is going to the hall of fame our of our class, but I would bet on at least one of the corner backs, if not three, and at least two of the wide receivers should be able to make it there. After looking a bit, there are a lot of corner backs with lots of TPE from the season twenty five class, so definitely should be a couple who make it in. I would also say we have a couple of linebackers and some linemen who have really good chances to make it in the hall. But, in the end, only time will tell how good this class ends up being. In another five seasons, what are we going to be saying about this draft class?
