I am so glad this prompt is a thing so I can explain to everyone the Fire Salamanders mascot. Sally the Fire Salamander is a benevolent, fun loving mascot who loves to cheer on the team and hype up the crowds, and is especially very good at DEFINITELY NOT CAUSING FIRES OK? The fire on her back is definitely not hot enough to cause other things to light and that stadium fire was an oven fire after someone left the sauerkraut on for too long. Sally would never do such a thing. If you want to get a better picture of Sally the Fire Salamander, picture the salamander from Frozen, except black red and yellow, walking on two legs, and six feet tall. Still the same wholesomeness though, and that's what counts. Some things Sally likes to do are hug children, pet animals, and donate to fire related charities around Germany, all while NOT CAUSING FIRES. The fire at the German Red Cross was caused by an electrical issue with old faulty wires, and it was a TOTAL COINCIDENCE that Sally happened to be there at the exact same time it happened. Fell her fire, it's like a heating pad for a sore back after a long day of work. If you ever want to meet Sally you can pay for a ticket and come to a Berlin home game.
