I am here to literally talk about a fight between myself, star wide receiver Jackson Kingston, and pro bowl safety, Bob Roberts. Now, Bob and I generally for all intents and purposes get along, we kind of are basically good friends and teammates. However, one day in practice, Bob made a snide remark in my direction. After I literally had basically torched him for the eleventh time that practice, he grimaced, spat at the ground and said, "That's why yo shoes raggedy," in a very big way. This statement caught me especially off guard, which essentially is quite significant. First off, my shoes are not raggedy at all in a subtle way. I really found it asinine that such slander would kind of come out of the mouth of a player who wears New Balance, or so they really thought. Who do you literally think you are Kawhi Leonard? So in order to remedy the situation, I knew what I had to do. I had to get Roberts some new shoes, which really is quite significant. With star quarterback, Sam 'Roach' Howitzer, I went shoe shopping and kind of got the homie Roberts some Air Maxes. Once Roberts definitely got the shoes, he broke down into tears and apologized, which is fairly significant. Sometimes, the biggest locker room fights can specifically be broken up with simple fixes.

(06-27-2021, 07:53 PM)TheCC Wrote: Surprise surprise. Mario Von Pebbles and Matt Krause got into it again. I’ve only been on the team for what, like a month? Maybe two months? And this is probably the 10th time that I’ve seen them argue. This time it started to turn into a shoving match, so it’s lucky that I was there to break them up before it got worse. What started this fight, you ask? Well, I’m sure most of you have heard about the Minnesota Grey Duck tradition of kissing in the showers. Well MVP and Krause have tried keeping that tradition going in Berlin. Most of the teammates don’t take part in this, but Krause and MVP sure do. The usual reason for the fights is that Krause feels like MVP isn’t giving it his all when they’re doing their post-game shower kissing. That offends MVP a bit, so he usually brings up the fact that Daymond Brooks is a way better kisser than Krause, and he wishes that Brooks was on the team so that he could kiss him instead. It’s an absolute mess. This time around, I decided to step in to try to get the fighting to stop completely since the playoffs are about to start. I promised them that if Berlin wins the Ultimus, I’ll call up my boy Daymond and we can all go to Bali this offseason. Now they’re buddy buddy again and they’re more motivated than ever. Problem solved!yo here's my pt 5 ok. its goes like this. maybe shower time is personal and private.
While the Sailfish had a strong season and managed to extend their playoff streak for another season, some veterans on the team, especially on the defense, had high expectations and were upset that the team managed only a 3rd seed setting them up with a difficult path through the playoffs. Tensions were high during practices leading up to the playoffs as the defense sometimes struggled with making the right adjustments at the line to contain Colorado's explosive offense. After a big miscommunication during scrimmage that allowed a long touchdown to the offense, the two defensive stars of the secondary, Cuco Clemente and Harrison Andrews, took issue with how the team had been performing and started to take it out on each other. While Cuco has been a great leader this season by example, coming up with huge plays, Handrews felt that Cuco could do better communicating with the rest of the team and talking to the coaches through the radio while the team lined up.
Obviously Cuco bristled at this harsh feedback coming from the team's defensive captain, so Petey Patterson, a good friend to both and another veteran member of the secondary, came over to hash things out between the two. The trio went over the issues the team was having in making adjustments, and together came up with an idea to try each of the three of them as the defensive signal caller. After running it by the GMs and practicing with each of the three wearing the dot and calling out defensive plays, both Cuco and Handrews felt most comfortable with Petey calling the plays. The GMs concurred with the decision, eager to keep their star players happy, and so Peter Patterson will start his first game as the defensive radio player in the playoffs against chief rivals, the Colorado Yeti.
Although the Baltimore Hawks are a tight knit team with players who will fight for each other on or off the field, like any other team they have the occasional spat from time to time as players of different backgrounds and mindsets clash. Dante King is outspoken and hopes to be able to set a good example for the team by mediating any problems that arise. But at the same time, Dante is only a rookie and doesn't have the cachet in the locker room that some of his more experienced teammates do and likely can't quell flames on their own. So if a fight broke out during practice, most likely instigated by an unnamed waterfowl, Dante would step up to the plate by enrolling the services of the most wholesome teammate on the Hawks - Luke Quick, aka @Bigred1580. Quick is a kind, gentle, loving, wise, affectionate, amiable, compassionate, judicious, benevolent, virtuous, altruistic, thoughtful, friendly, conciliatory, genial, peaceful, sensible, humane, generous, tenderhearted, perceptive, objective, sagacious, reflective, tactful, sensitive, perspicacious, diplomatic, gallant, honorable, considerate, just, dependable, honest, earnest, sincere, harmonious, composed, civil, and empathetic person who can bring his insight into any conflict resolution situation to help all involved feel better and bring the team closer as a result. Dante hopes that one day, he can be as excellent as his pal Luke.
Big Slammu was named as the Defensive Captain for the Yellowknife Wraiths for the S29 season. While this is a great honor, it also has some pretty unfun duties like the fact that he was used as the drive force behind reconciling players after disagreements. As we all know, football teams are a group of alpha-type men vying for dominance and glory and it’s very hard to stop things from getting out of hand when conflict begins. The Wraiths had an unusual amount of fights break out during training camp and Big Slammu, instead of fanning the flames, decided to stoke the flames. Big Slammu is a hot blooded half shark half man and he loves a good fight. Big Slammu’s policy seems to be let them duke it out, and the loser apologizes for challenging the other teammate. Unfortunately this is not an effective way of forming team unity and it bled onto to the football field. There were way too many defensive performances that were putrid this year from the Wraiths due to teammates refusing to cooperate. Ultimately, it was probably a big factor why the Wraiths have missed the playoffs yet again. No one expects Big Slammu to be put into a leadership position for this team again.

So a fight has broken out inside the Minnesota Grey Ducks locker room. A few guys were fighting about another player that was starting to be more focused on personal awards and accolades. This has been an ever growing problem as the team is starting to get closer and closer to a great playoff push. Approaching the problem could get ugly as the involved player tends to be uninterested unless things go his way. The situation came to a head when it appeared that the team’s strategies seemingly have changed to keep this player as happy as possible.
I would approach the situation in a leader type setting. Get the general managers together and the leader players and old ducks and hash out what the team is complaining about and see how the situation affects the Grey Duck postseason success. Some proof with statistics over changes in strategies could be beneficial for all to see. In the beginning of the season, as we felt out how our team looked on the field, we found success in our strategies and everyone was feeding. As the season progressed, something went awry and strategies have changed for some reason and results have become evident. Words: 201
As we close out the regular season and prepare for the playoffs, NOLA has been having ramped up practices as of late to get us more accustomed to the intensity of the playoffs. However, the increased intensity has been building up a bit of tension and restless energy amongst the team which has unfortunately boiled over to a fight between a few teammates, not out of malice but out of tension. This is of course a problem as we don't want to destroy the team chemistry we have built over this season to make the season comeback. Thus, with Sloth, our QB, and my fellow tag-team DE partner, Toblerone, I took the teammates that have gotten into the spat and discussed with them privately as a mini group to get to the bottom of the incident. After discussing with the teammates in question privately, we discovered that our teammates did not mean anything personal nor malicious through the event; they wanted to give their all in the ramped up practices and ended up accidentally going too hard which led to the spat. Thus, to soothe concerns amongst the whole team, we encouraged them to apologize and make up with each other in front of the team so as to restore and maintain the team chemistry we have built going into these playoffs!

Since it is a tough season for the Portland Pythons, arguments and fights break out on the daily in practice or post game locker room talks. So very often peace has to be restored and cohesion has to be maintained otherwise the team will shift downward. Since Panda McKyle is one of the captains of the team and quarterback , it is a part of his responsibility. ZEagle, the general manager, asked him to keep the peace, with making sure that players are heard.. My approach would be as follows: Allow teammates to “fight it out”, let them argue, yell at each other because it creates a sense of teammates caring about the team. Then I’ll talk to the two individuals in question. Let them calm down and talk to each other to make sure nothing is personal. Football is a sport of passion and every player should show that passion. Lastly, I would call a team meeting and let everyone know that the two players are cool and it is just a passion of the game. I would ask my co-captain Forty-Two, to help me out with this technique. I feel like this will help players express their frustrations and keep the team together, which is super important.
