Written option: This week is the last week of the regular season of the 30th season of the ISFL. Wooooooo! This week, tell us what you think the meaning of success in this league is? Is it winning championships? Winning awards? Destroying that one team that you hate? Or just having fun with your team? There are so many ways to define success, what would you define it as.
I think it's easy to point at Cups and Wins to determine success in this league and ultimately in the game sence of it all yeah that is success. On the flip side, this website is so much more than our little dotts doing football things. It is meeting and getting to know new people. Make friends and be parts of a locker room. It is about enjoying each others company and I think the dotts are just a side thing at the end of it all. So for me success can be described as feeling like you have found the perfect locker room for you and are having a great time being a part of this community. All the winning games, getting awards and winning cups at that point are just a side thing that might happen or it might not. It is all rng number generation and one player who is maxed out might not play as well as a player with half the attributes. That is all just random mumbo jumbo. Chilling and have great talks with community members will always beat out that stuff. So as someone who hasn't won any cups in atleast 2,5 years or so now. Just have fun with it all and you are already winning.
