If my player were allowed to do a day in the life of filming, I hope they would catch me in-season, rather than the offseason. The offseason is where they might be scared to show anything. During the season, there's a more focused and disciplined approach to the day to day routines as he tries to stay in top shape and maintain peak performance.
For gamedays, the routine starts the night before. On the previous night, we eat something light but filling, like salads, soups, and noodles. We also play something active, like bowling, boxing, or mini-golf. The key is to get some good sleep, so we usually are in bed to ensure 8-9 hours of sleep. When we get up, tater tots are tossed in the airfryer while we do our morning warmups. Got to get plenty of fluids in and some non-greasy carbs. We usually get to the stadium about 3 hours before game time to get some messages and some treatment. I usually watch a little film, play some video games and listen to some 80's dance music to keep me calm and focused.
At halftime, I always switch cleats and gloves. I like to feel fresh unless I 'm in a zone and rolling. After the game, I always talk with the fans, I call my family, and get another massage. I enjoy talking with the media because they have to feed their family just like me. Now if we win, I usually go pick up my road dogs and we hit the scene, especially in a road week. Now the activities we engage in are definitely of the rated R type, but I always like to find a car show and play some new music, hear some new music, and go home and write some new material.
