In looking at the current best Defense of the ISFL, I've got to play it simple and go based purely off stats. However, I'm going to do something a little different and create a Defense consisting purely of blitzing players.
Imagine lining up as an offense and seeing Goodman, Slammu, Domine, McMullet, Walls, Smart, Lover, Montain, Woody, Jones Jr., and DukeMarriot lined up against you. 113 sacks between these players, 34 tackles for losses, 30 forced fumbles, and 8 fumbles recovered! This is a team that's prepared to go after the ball and prevent any forward progression. All of these players are max earners, have a great history with the league, and are model players young ISFL and DSL players should look up to not only for their on the field play but off the field activity as well.
CBs and Safeties will always be necessary on a Defense, but for the sake of fun, I'd love to see the mentioned 11 players lined up and rushing the QB with a fury never before seen in this league.
