Pasta the Turtle, Willie Miller, Redbeard McFredbeard, and Annie May would be an incredible defensive backfield that no team would be able to throw on. Their stats at this point in the season are by far the best in the secondary, giving you plenty of interceptions and passes defended so you can make to quarterbacks life hell. Having played CB and QB, appreciating what a good DB group can do, especially against the high powered offenses that the league has, would be essentially to the defense beating the offense. Add in some good DL and LB players and you'll have a team that no QB can test and that the offense will have to really work hard to move the ball down the field. A good secondary is crucial to a good team, and having a turnover focused DB group that can take the ball away and give you good field position is crucial to taking advantage of good offenses. I think it's easy to forget that a good secondary can open up the pass rush, especially longer plays in the pocket that lead to coverage sacks and forcing hero ball from the QB in order to make something happen on offense.
