1. What is your favorite part of the league so far and are there any users that have really helped you get involved?
My favorite part of the league is crushing our enemies, seeing them driven before us, and hearing the lamentation of their women. Beck from the Sea Wolves tried to DM me to scout me for drafting but I'm a grey duck for life, and then we destroyed his pitiful C-Wolves week 15.
2. As a newly created player, was the experience intuitive? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve the experience of getting started in our league?
Honestly the forum UI is old as butt, probably character creators and point tracking should be done through something similar to roll20 instead of manually tracking threads and having someone check our point totals. I'm imagining a central page that tells me "eligible TPE tasks, collected TPE" and then where I can mess with my points or write a dumb bio.
3. Write a letter to any perspective GMs that may be interested in picking you up in the upcomong draft(or waivers). What makes you stand out?
I have the height of Waluigi and the brains of Gronkowski. I graduated from Koopa Kollege where I led the piranha league in receptions, touchdowns, and WAAAAAAs after catch. That filthy coward Sakurai is jealous and wouldn't let me into Smash, so I've come to Smash the ISFL. I'm-a Waluigi, number one!
4. The ISFL has quite a few branding amongst its two leagues. Which branding are your favorite? Which are your least favorite?
Have you guys ever seen a flock of ducks flying in perfect formation? It's beautiful. Pretty awesome the way they all stick together. Ducks never say die. Ever seen a duck fight? No way. Why? Because the other animals are afraid. They know that if they mess with one duck, they gotta deal with the whole flock. I'm proud to be a Duck, and I'd be proud to fly with you. So how about it? Who's a Duck?
5. Talk about what inspired your players name and any meaning behind it
Waluigi Gronkowski is my IRL name. A very tall, very thin, very evil Italian had sex with Mrs. Gronkowski and nine months later, I pop out of her womb at 7'7" with a full moustache, tennis racquet, and purple overalls. My first word was WAAAA and I haven't expanded my vocabulary much since then.
6. Talk about your player number and if it means anything special to you
69 is the number of penalties I received in one game. Unsportsmanlike conduct, excessive celebration, REALLY excessive celebration, I did it all. After a particularly egregious Waluigi hip-thrust, Lakitu tried to fishing pole me off the field but our coach and renowned cheater, Bowser Belicheck, let me stay in just so we could break the penalty record which stands to this day.
