Well as an ISFL GM of the Chicago Butchers, I don’t think I’m a very big fan of this prompt at all. This was a clever plan to get my future strats, Lucid. I’ll give you that. Our season has been going very well so far, which may be a surprise to most, but not to me. I believe I predicted us to make the playoffs this year. How is that happening, you ask? Well, I think the main driving factor behind our good first half of the season is our defense. It feels like we’ve been getting a lot of turnovers, so we should try to keep doing what we’re doing there. The only improvement that I could really ask for is better QB play. That’s not a knock on Oles - he’s doing everything he can. Perhaps it’s something in our offensive strat that’s holding him back, but we really need to find a way to unlock his potential.

With only a bit of game left to go in the regular season, the Austin Copperheads have a lot of improvements to make in order for us to make it right and make it into the playoffs. In order to win some games, we definitely need a change up of sims because this one keeps screwing us. Real talk some of the plays we have been running have been a hot topic in the room and where we can improve. Without saying to much, we may be switching things up by who know, maybe we wont, I do not run the plays. What we can keep doing is letting Daytona run the show, he has been nothing short of incredible in one of his greatest seasons of all time. This may have something to do with Patey on the field being a distraction for the big name receivers cause it's definitely not me catching anything.

Genuinely it is hard to pinpoint exactly what we need to do right to turn this thing around. This team was on the rise for a few seasons in a row, basically on the cusp of making the playoffs just a season ago and now last season's win total may already be out of reach for us. We have gotten extremely unlucky, losing most of our games by one score or less late in the game and that's just kind of a coin flip in this league. The ball bounces a different way, you stop a guy one yard short, it can change the entire outcome of your season. Our young players, including ROTY Higgins, are developing well on both sides of the ball and will certainly be cornerstones for the team for some time. Really, I think the best thing we can do at this point is just stay the course and not lose faith in the team and our progression. I think in the back half of the season if just a few more things click and go right for us, we can really improve. The standings are extremely tight right now, we may be down but certainly not out.

so with 7 weeks being down the stretch, its quite interesting to look at the yellowknife wraiths as a whole, because there are some things that are going right, but also alot of things going quite wrong.
The first big thing thats going right for the wraiths is the passing game. Like, you have a young qb and not the highest tpe wr lineup, yet yougn qb dustin parmalee managed to set a new league single game passing yards record in their latest matchup against the new orleans second line with 577 yards passing. Things that dont go so well halfway through the season include the defense, which is extremely young so its quite understandable that its struggling a bunch, especially in the passing game, Heading into the back stretch of this season id say its rather unlikely that the situation will improve, which is why i think the wraiths main focus should be on S34+ 154 words
Now through 9 weeks of ISFL regular season play, things are starting to look dire for the Berlin Fire Salamanders, thanks in large part to their recent 3 game losing skid. Though their current 4-5 record would put them at 3rd place in the ASFC, the Fire Salamanders play in a much tougher NSFC table, where they're currently only one win above last place Yellowknife and two wins behind the 3rd place Sarasota Sailfish. In between Berlin and Sarasota are two other tough teams as well: Colorado and Philadelphia. These last 7 games of the season could change things a lot with such a tough conference, but Berlin will need to make big improvements. One of the biggest issues for Berlin has been their out of conference performances, going just 1-2 against ASFC opponents, losing by a combined 7 points in those two defeats. A major contributor here has to be the fall off of reigning MVP Dexter Zaylren, who has surpassed last season's interception total by 2 already. At the same time, the Berlin defense has softened significantly, allowing the 3rd most points and 4th most yards in the league. If Zaylren and the defense can tighten things up a bit, the only other thing that needs to be worked on is Berlin's situational football. Any time you see a team with a positive Point Differential and a losing record, you know that the team is failing to succeed in key situations in close game, which can absolutely sink any team with playoff aspirations.
Well 7 weeks are down, well I make it 9 weeks but never mind this is what I get for doing my PY on a Friday I guess but never mind. Austin haven't had the best start, we are currently have 3 wins and 6 loses which sucks a little as I was expecting us to do a bit better, but due to all of the ASFC sucking we are still very much in the playoff hunt and as you should well know if you make the playoffs then anything can happen. At the very least my player Jackie Daytona is having a great season, hopefully he can amp it up and really take a run at some awards for once. So let's hope we start winning again, we have a tough couple of games in front of us and then at the end if the season it is a little easier. Fingers crossed we get the wins we deserve and are able to lock in that 3rd Place in the division.
