Elessar Jones would make an excellent general manager after he retires. He is a rare talent, as one who played both quarterback and linebacker in the minor leagues before being called up to play for the New Orleans Second Line this season. The linebacker is often called the "quarterback of the defense," and Jones's experience as both a QB and LB and his knowledge of all positions and roles on a football team means that Elessar would be a great GM. I think he would especially excel in the area of scouting and personnel. He has such a strong knowledge of both sides of the ball that he would be able to assess players and rank them on draft boards appropriately. Of course, no one does a big job like GM without help. He would need to surround himself with good scouts, administrative assistants, salary cap specialists, and financial officers to make sure he was running the team to the best of his ability.
