Tier 2: 10. Write a short biography or story about your player. This could include background about how they came to the ISFL and how they’ve done so far, a story about their role in an exciting game, or anything else related to their experience in the league.
Carissa definitely does not come from a modest background, with a dad that was both obsessed with sports and the means to fuel his daughter's youth bouncing between sports. She did, however, really struggle with finding a sport that agreed with her. She needed something physical, and it took a while to find American Football, as it really doesn't have a following in Europe, and she really wanted to succeed in Soccer. European Football was the lifeblood of her classmates, and she loved grabbing a ball and messing around during lunches and breaks. But when it came to being on a team and games, it was a crapshoot. She spent most of her time on the bench, and the few minutes she wasn't were spent barreling towards the ball, single-mindedly wasting any players in her wake. And you can't do that. Many, many people told her she couldn't do that. But she loved playing sports, loved it. So her American father worked to find other sports. Baseball was fun, but she was a little too physical for that as well. So then she tried American Football, and that was it.
She's loved her time with Norfolk - the Seawolves are welcoming and just as competitive as she is, which was a perfect match. She got a ring with them, and saw some great improvement over her seasons with them. It's been quite the ride, and it's only with optimism that she looks toward New Orleans. The defensive squad there is really incredible, and she's already fitting right in. The season this year will really set the tone for the rest of her career, and she's looking forward to seeing how she can improve and maybe what worked in the DSFL might not work here. She started with some trepidation but now is filled from head to toe with excitement. She hopes to make a name for herself as one of the best Linebackers in the league, and will gladly bulldoze any in her way.

Tier 3: 19. Written Option: If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be?
Carissa would have something on the food channel. She loves to cook. She'd have one of those chill shows where the camera just follows her going about her day, heading down to famer's markets and local shops to grab food, and the meals wouldn't be anything crazy. She likes to cook from scratch, but she doesn't like to go crazy. The meals are full family meals because she meal preps like no one's business, and loves colorful meals. We're talking every bell pepper under the sun, spinach and pastas and a different meat every day. They're protein rich for an athlete's diet, but they're also super accessible to non-athletes and anyone who wants to get in their kitchen and cook for a few hours. They're not quick meals, they require a fair bit of prep and care during the cooking, but it's Carissa's happy space. She feels a clam she doesn't get anywhere else when she cooks, and she'd like to share that.
