Quote:19. Your team has announced that they will be laying ground on a new stadium next season. What additions would you like to see included in it. (Written Task)A new stadium? Jeez, uh, this is a tough one. Honolulu has always had great stadiums and field colors, but I guess there are a few things you change. Maybe making the arena bigger would be cool, allowing more fans to come into the arena and cheer us on. Another thing I guess we could add is maybe a way to implement a big aquarium somewhere in the arena, because our team is about the ocean and some of the wildlife there, or maybe a pool with a spa area just because why not? It would bring in more people and help us be able to get more fans to cheer us on live. The last thing I would think of adding is maybe a huge ass like, mascot head of a shark for when we enter the field. I thin it would look super badass and it would get everyone hyped. Code: 152 words Quote:20. Written Option: Which teammate of yours is the ultimate team player and why? How does this person exhibit selflessness and put the team first? Are they a great locker room presence who encourages others? Do they play an important but unappreciated role on the team which doesn't receive much recognition for awards? The biggest team player, I mean I would say myself LOL, but let's give the spotlight to someone else. I think Seth Leavitt or Nova Motagne would probably be the biggest team players. They don't really care about personal performance, and would love to see the team win rather than racking up stats. Seth is a great dude and everyone loves being around him. He is a big hype guy in the locker room and everyone gets super pumped up just being in his area. Nova is also great, she is always super willing to help out any of the guys and cheer them up/on whenever they are in a bad slump. Having leaders like this is huge to us, because if the team morale is down, than we can't get anything done, but being able to keep the positive vibes rolling when we are down is amazing, and these 2 players are very good at doing just that. Code: 160 words Quote:23. What are your thoughts on the sim engine? What sort of improvements would you make to the sim engine if given the opportunity? (Written Task)Me personally, I do enjoy the sim engine, but there is a lot that could be done to improve it. Adding 3D models would be great in my opinion. Just seeing dots run around the field is great and all, but it sucks not knowing what is exactly happening because you can't tell with dots. Another thing I would had is maybe some commentating at times? I know that can be really difficult and time consuming, but I do think it would be a really cool idea to bring in and engage users to get excited about the sims. Something else would be adding more realistic game sounds. We always here the same shit whenever a big event happens, like getting a touchdown, sack, interception, or fumble. It makes the sims boring in my opinion and I would love to hear more unique and different crowd sounds to make it really feel like you are in the stadium. Code: 158 words Quote:26. if your player wasn't a professional in the ISFL/DSFL, what would they be doing instead? (Written Task or Graphic Task)Oh boy lol, let's see here. Caleb has always been a big hockey fan growing up, so I could see him becoming a top goalie in the NHL at some point in time if he wasn't already in the ISFL. He grew up watching the Boston Bruins and always had a fond love for hockey, so I think it would be really cool to see him doing that. Another sport would be golf, because, who doesn't love some golf? It might not seem fun, but it really is an amazing experience to get away from all the hustle, and just take a nice relaxing day golfing with the boys. It's always super pleasant, no one is really "competing" like they do in football, and it would be a nice career for Caleb to have if he wasn't already in the ISFL. So yeah, either Golf or Hockey, it's got to be one of those two. Code: 155 words Code: 10/10 TPE
Written Option: If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be?
If Eli Prince had his own show, he would be the main character of a man who was sent back in time and placed within the realm of a fantasy world. Being a stock standard athlete, he only knew of certain things going on around him through second-hand social media and off-comments he heard some of his teammates mention. Through trial and error and with the assistance of his Dwarf ally he has to find a way to get back to where he belongs in his own timeline. As we follow Eli on his journey, he begins to realise his natural talent as an NFL player won’t be enough to carry him in this journey alone and has to learn different magical abilities to assist with some of the monsters that stand in his way. His dwarf ally, Ben, is a master in summoning and ritualistic spells providing assistance when needed. The show is called Eli’s Endzone Expidition.” (158 Words) New players join our teams every season, so which of those new players made the biggest impact on the field for your team? (Written Option) I am going to use my own player as the largest impact for Tijuana. Leading the team in yards, receptions and touchdowns. Eli showed great capabilities to provide Tijuana Luchadores with the skills needed to make a run for the Ultimini Championship game in the oncoming years and this year. He made his mark in Week 8 when he had a fantastic game going for 6 catches, 138 yards and two touchdowns. Even though this did not lead to a win for Tijuana it did show what was to come for the Luchadores in the coming weeks/seasons. Eli continues to be a menace to opposing defences and will only continue to grow and pose as a threat across the league. His ability to go long and catch everything and anything whether it be balls or catching strays from opposing Defensive coordinators is starting to be noticed by his fellow players. Eli is only going to increase as a notable player in the league and opposing teams better start game-planning for his presence on the field. (175 Words) You’re in charge of entertainment for the Ultimus or Ultimini half-time show. What would you do? If I was in charge of the Ultimini half-time show I would have the field uplifted and quickly exchanged for a coliseum. This coliseum would mean the turf would be uplifted and removed, the goal posts too and replaced with large cement pillars airdropped in by aircraft carriers and fixed in with large stakes that point out at a 45-degree angle with spikes on the end. Chains would then be linked between the pillars and sad would be dumped within the area. Once all set up I would have staff place various weapons, like swords, axes, maces, clubs and one special item in the centre of the arena such as a lightsaber or halo sword thing. Once this has all been completed (should only take 15-20 minutes) 5-6 celebrities would be airdropped into the arena at the same time. Drake, All the Kardashians, Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande, Kanye West and Elon Musk. These people would then have to fight to the death. The rest is up to your own imagination. The winner goes on to play at the same styled event the next year. (184 Words) What team do you think has the best branding in the league? Why? The best branding in the league has to go to Tijuana Luchadores. Simple colours that work with any form of uniform and the logo is literally from scratch (Looking at your Norfolk). The theme is authentic and you could really believe a real sports team using this branding. Its simple logo provides ease of use in branding options such as on helmets, on jerseys, on all types of merchandise and the colour scheme screams the location in Mexico. To add to this, the design of the logo itself is unique, and authentic and pays homage to the locals of the area it represents, it stands out and is easily identifiable amongst the sea of sports teams that exist not only in these simulation leagues but in real life sports as well. Because it’s easily identifiable it only adds to the team’s brand awareness and loyalty when fans wear their gear. To conclude, the green, red and black/white Tijuana Luchadores have the best branding and color scheme in the league which I believe is the most unique and the easiest to identify with and I can’t imagine how any other team could top it. (193 Words) Quote:4. For any team, certain players and users have gone above and beyond, shaping the legacy of the franchise. Choose any ISFL or DSFL team and create a Mount Rushmore for that team. Who in your mind are the four most noteworthy figures of the team’s history? Why does each one of your included figures deserve that recognition, and how did each of them make their mark? (600+ words, 10 TPE) For my Mount Rushmore, I am going to choose the Dallas Birddogs. It was the first team which ever drafted me in this league and while I only spent one season playing for them it went on to shape the league experience extremely for me, especially because I had the pleasure of being their General Manager for three seasons. Keep in mind that this write-up and monument is reflective of my time in Dallas, and not what came before or after that time, other people are much better to write their own representation of those times than I ever could and it is highly subjective what I will write down here. The first person on this exceptional monument of the texan doggos will be Kyle. Why? It is simple, because it is Kyle, without him there would be no Birddogs, there would be no Mount Rushmore for the Birddogs and thus I could not write about it. Kyle shaped this team and instilled the tradition of serving three seasons as General Manager. While he did not draft me because he was not GM at the time anymore, he welcomed me, made me feel at home and told me (and still does tell me) how much I suck at Rocket League. I would actually think I am good at that game by now if it weren't for him and thus he earned his spot on this crude monument cut into rock. Also he needs to have a mullet on his representation. Secondly on the Dallas Birddogs Mount Rushmore will be Pythonic. While he was never known to be an extreme earner or even super active in our Locker Room he was always there when we needed him. He made sure he is a player for us when we needed him to. He raked in stats on stats in multiple seasons even though he should not have had them. He was a fun guy in the locker room and is a Dallas Legend forever in our hearts and our minds. Pythonic, on the off chance you may ever read this, I love you. Next to the coveted spot of Pythonic will be the one and only Kyamprac. I had the possibility to share a season with her at the helm before she left the spot after three seasons as was tradition. And while I am so incredibly happy that I was able to share the next two seasons with Zoot, the one season with Kyamprac where we were able to lead Dallas to it's first ever Ultimini will be something that I will never forget. There were other Ultiminis that came after that but this one was special. It was the first in team history and will forever be enshrined. Also Kya cared so much for this team, for everyone around here and in the end it was so great to work with her that she should be on there. And the last spot on this great monument of Simulation Football and Whisky brands will go to the one and only Dallypole. Could there be someone else who was a better fit to be drafted into Dallas as the man with the name of Dallas Dole and an Andy Dalton playing as a kicker render? I do not think so. I drafted Dally as a kicker a bit later in the draft and he was a great locker room fit, made my time as a GM incredibly fun and was always great at responding when you needed him. He went on to have a great career in the league (with Orange County if my brain isn't completely fried yet) and recently recreated. I hope he brings as much joy to all his teams as he brought to me and the Dallas Birddogs. This is it. This is my highly subjective monument. All hatemail please to my Forum DMs because I never check them anyways. (652 words)

Task 8 - 5 TPE
My experience in the ISFL so far has been pretty incredible. I joined with my friend TheRake after he sent me a Tweet from DomFFL about the league. Since we're both football and fantasy degenerates, we jumped at the chance to create players and join in on something I honestly believe could explode the more people find out about it. While creating my player and navigating the forum was a little overwhelming at first, everyone has been so quick to help out whenever I've had questions or needed help. Being able to interact with other new players, rookies, and vets of the league in the rookie Discord has been great. It makes it a lot easier when everyone is so friendly and willing to help out with some of the more complex tasks. Earning TPE and cash has been really easy so far as well. Knowing exactly what I need to do, and how much cash I need to earn, to maximize my TPE and quickly develop has been wonderful. I've created a spreadsheet to help me track all of my tasks and cash earning opportunities as a go along and it helps having people give advice on the best ways to earn and spend my cash/TPE to help me become a dominant DE in the league. One of the best parts so far is how quickly I've been able to interact with different personnel from some of the DSFL teams. It's been cool getting to know people from all around the league we rooks will soon be playing in, even to the point of being invited to hang out and interact in team locker rooms. That kind of camaraderie is exactly what makes new players like me want to continue playing and growing in the league. All in all, I just wanted to try something new and this league has absolutely exceeded every conceivable expectation I had coming into it. I'm really looking forward to continue growing in the DSFL and ISFL! (330 words) Task 11 - 5 TPE Bruce White attended Dumas High School in Dumas, Texas, where he was a letterman in football, basketball, baseball, and track. Not to be fooled by his nickname "The Dumbass From Dumas" White is quick witted, quick to learn, and a cerebral player with a high level of strength and speed. The most notable aspect of White, in combination with his off the charts attributes is his combined "Anything to Win" mentality and a mean streak matched by very few others. White was born in Dallas, TX, but moved to Dumas when he was 11 years old after his parents both died in a tragic boating accident. White was raised by his grandfather on a cattle ranch outside of Dumas where White learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and gained an indomitable will to be the best at the thing he and his father loved most, football. In football, he had 19.5 sacks as a senior at Dumas HS and was rated as a five-star recruit by the Rivals.com recruiting network and was ranked as the second best overall player in his class. He committed to play college football at Texas A&M University in October even though in track & field, he was a state qualifier in the throwing events, with top-throws of 16.01 meters in the shot put and 50.84 meters in the discus throw. White came to Texas A&M as the #2 overall prospect in the nation. As a true freshman White recorded 8.5 sacks in only six games. White became a full time starter in his Sophomore year, recording 12.5 sacks and leading one of the top defenses in the nation. In his Junior year White tied Von Miller for 2nd most single season sacks in Texas A&M history with 17. White earned a first-team All-American selection by the Walter Camp Football Foundation and the Football Writers Association of America. He was also the Bill Willis Award winner as the top defensive lineman. White dedicated both awards to his parents and honored them for being the reason he became the player he is. (354 words)

For this Offseason Task, I will be tackling the fourth option of the Tier 1: Long Form Tasks. I will be choosing a Mount Rushmore for the losingest team in League history, my hometown Colorado Yeti.
I will only be selecting players whose careers have come to an end, as to not put too much pressure on those still playing for the team. These athletes all gave their heart and souls to the franchise, so keep in mind that this list is not meant to be ordered by greatness in any way. All sources for this article come from the Colorado Yeti Franchise Records Wiki Page in addition to each players respective Wiki Pages. First up is Running Back Boss Tweed. Tweed entered the league in its inaugural season being the 99th overall pick in the 17th round of the draft. Working his way up a crowded running back room in his first year, Tweed earned playing time throughout a season that ended in an unfortunate loss in the first ever Ultimus Bowl. Despite never making the playoffs again with the Yeti, Tweed had a highly successful career in Colorado. Tweed made four straight Pro Bowls in all but his first and final seasons with the Yeti. Additionally, he won the Season 5 NSFL's Top Performance of the Year for a monster game in week 12 in which Tweed broke the previous single game rushing record before halftime, rushing against the Las Vegas Legion for 171 yards on 34 carries over the course of the game. When it comes to stats, Tweed is no slouch either. Tweed still holds the franchise rushing record with 6,151 yards over 6 seasons, along with winning the ISFL rushing crown twice in his career. Eventually, Tweed and the Yeti parted ways after his 6th season with Colorado not wanting to bog down Tweed's career by having him go through another rebuild. Despite moving on to another team, Tweeds impact was undeniable, becoming one of the first two players inducted into the Colorado Yeti Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the ISFL Hall of Fame, having entered in 2027. The second athlete on this list is Kicker/Quarterback Micycle McCormick. McCormick was drafted by the Colorado Yeti with the 18th overall pick in the 2021 NSFL Draft. 5 weeks into the season, the Yeti traded their already established kicker, leaving McCormick with the starting kicker and punter job. This decision ended up paying off as in his second season he had a perfect kicking year. He followed this up by winning Kicker of the Year the next season and then Punter of the Year in the two seasons after that. As a kicker, McCormick made three straight Pro Bowls from 2023 to 2025. He ended his tenure as kicker as the then franchise record holder of both field goals and extra points made along with punts and punting yards (now in second for all four) with 106 field goal and 134 extra points along with 481 punts for 22,892 yards. He is top ten in the leagues history in field goals made and percentage, extra points made and percentage, as well as punt yards and punt yard average. After five years of kicking, McCormick suffered a devastating foot injury, but stayed on with the team by switching to quarterback. Despite switching positions, he maintained his excellence. McCormick made four straight Pro Bowls as a passer, making that eight straight overall for his career. Despite only five years as the signal caller, McCormick is third in franchise history in passing yards and completions with 1,720 completions for 20,852 yards. Additionally, he is second in franchise touchdowns with 131 thrown. He ended his career as the franchise leader in all three with a career QBR of 83.1 Viewing his career as a whole, McCormick is the second greatest kicker in franchise history in addition to finally supplying his team with stability at the quarterback position, helping to take the Yeti to the playoffs twice at each position. He was inducted into the Colorado Yeti Hall of Fame after his retirement in 2030 and entered into the ISFL Hall of Fame in 2034. Third on this list is Wide Receiver Howard Miller. Miller came to the team with high expectation on his shoulders, being drafted with the first overall pick in the 2022 ISFL draft, being one of the few players to be drafted first overall in both the DSFL and ISFL drafts. Of his nine year career, Miller spent seven of those seasons with Colorado, living up to the vaulted expectations. Miller only made one Pro Bowl in the NSFL, having done so in his third season. In his fifth season, Miller won both NSFL MVP and Wide Receiver of the Year, putting up 85 receptions for 1,437 yards and 9 touchdowns. Miller ended his time with the Yeti as the franchise leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns, with 513 receptions for 9,051 yards and 50 touchdowns. He is now third in each category. Miller was inducted into the Colorado Yeti Hall of Fame in 2030 leaving behind a legacy of excellence. The fourth and final member of this Mount Rushmore is Johnathon Saint. Saint was drafted by Colorado with the 58th overall pick in the inaugural NSFL Draft. Saint's success was immediate, making the Pro Bowl and winning Linebacker of the Year. Along with Tweed, Saint would go to the Ultimus that year but would not make the playoffs again until the final years of his career. Despite the lack of team success, Saint would go on to make eight total Pro Bowls, including five straight from 2016 to 2020 and three in a row from 2022 to 2024. Saint played his entire career for Colorado, totaling 963 tackles, 14 forced fumbles, 80 sacks, 11 interceptions, and 79 pass deflections. Saint retired as the franchise leader in tackles, tackles for a loss, forced fumbles, and sacks. He remains the leader in forced fumbles, and has fallen down to third in tackles, fourth in tackles for a loss, and third in sacks. After his retirement, Saint was one of the first two players inducted into the Colorado Yeti Hall of Fame in 2026 and the ISFL Hall of Fame in 2029. Code: Word Count: 1,033 |
