Tobias Worthington III always loved sports, but he loved football more than anything. Growing up in Greenwich, CT, his dream was always to be under center for the Yale Bulldogs. This fit well with his parents’ values as they also loved football, but also were adamant that Tobias concentrate first on his academics. Their reasoning – everyone benefits from a top-notch education, but only a few are able to make it as a professional athlete.
So, his parents sent young Tobias off to the prestigious Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT which is currently ranked as the second best boarding school and third best private high school in America. Tobias did well in both the classroom and the gridiron. Well enough, in fact, to get a full-ride 4-year scholarship to play football for his target school, Yale.
So, off to Yale Tobias went. His first year was rather uneventful on the playing field as Yale had a star senior quarterback and Tobias never saw a snap all season long in a game that counted. He did take advantage of his situation though and peppered the veteran QB and his coaches with questions and advice on his game so that he steadily improved practice after practice.
This final 3 seasons as a Yalee were steadily more spectacular and he eventually set the school record for most passing yards in a season in his senior year. In spite of the fact that Ivy League schools do not participate in bowl games, Tobias still caught the eye of scouts and coaches in Dallas and was drafted in the first round to become the next golden boy in the Lone Star State.
Again, Tobias excelled at his craft and after a spectacular first season in Dallas was selected in the first round by the Austin Copperheads. He remained in Dallas for four more seasons, however, to get the additional seasoning needed to make it on the big stage in Austin. Tobias had finally realized his second big dream – make the big show of the ISFL.

A show starring Tobias Worthington III? Would have to be a documentary-style drama about how a young man goes from playing prep school football with a dream all the way to making it onto the big stage of the ISFL. Along the way there would the hard work and dedication required to honing ones skills to make it to each new level – college at Yale, breaking into the DSFL and then finally the big jump to the ISFL. So far, fairly standard. But the twist comes as we follow Tobias as he rises to the top of the heap with a first round draft choice as the new QB for the Austin Copperheads after a brilliant career under center in Dallas and then crashes to the ground as he gets distracted with a million other things in his life and loses his starting QB role. Then we watch as Tobias learns to adapt and recreate himself into a role player at the safety position.
