26. if your player wasn't a professional in the ISFL/DSFL, what would they be doing instead? (Written Task or Graphic Task)
Brian Vincent-Vega is a big fan of everything art related. Classical music, modern art, movies(he prefers to call them cinema), fashion, photography…If you ask him to tell you about the Italian Neorealism movement, he’ll happily oblige. He can name 10 impressionist painters off the top of his head. In fact, one of the reasons why he was so excited to be drafted to the London Royals was that he’ll be able to visit the National Gallery every week. He’s a basically a huge art nerd. He grew up idolizing Daniel Day-Lewis and Denzel Washington. If Vincent-Vega hadn’t made it in football, he would be in drama school, trying to build a career as an actor. Would he have made it big and become a Hollywood star or a Broadway sensation? Maybe he’ll end up posting skits and video essays on youtube. Guess we’ll never find out…or will we? Nothing’s certain yet, but Vincent-Vega plans to step into the acting world after his career. (163 words)
32. Your player has decided to start a podcast since it's what all the cool celebrities are doing these days. What would the name of your player's podcast be and what would they talk about/do on the podcast? (Written Task)
Jules & Vincent. Everybody knows that wide receivers and DBs are the biggest divas in football. What happens when you put them in front of a mic and make them record a podcast? Each week, Brian Vincent-Vega will invite a receiver (wr is preferred but running backs and tight ends work) who is playing against him the week after. They’ll talk football-film breakdowns, locker room stories, discuss cornerback rankings, etc. But it’s mostly about just shooting the shit. Dating advice, crazy college stories, hobbies-basically anything, just like Pulp Fiction’s Jules and Vincent. The highlight of the podcast is your classic DB-WR trash talking match at the end of each episode, where the host and the guest try to get under each other’s skin without revealing too much about this week’s gameplan. In the offseason, the podcast will be more activity focused, featuring golf tournaments, fishing trips and more with the regular season guests. (153 words)
