While still in the DSFL, Kairo Knight has made it a point to play as hard as he can for Bondi Beach and watch his next stop in his career in the Cape Town Crash. His excitement shot up tenfold when the Crash met the Yeti in week 2's game, and on the fourth play of Colorado's first offensive drive, J. Fontaine picked off Live Laughlove and ran it all the way back to the house for a touchdown. His teammates remarked that he jolted from his seat and let out a shout of joy. Some have voiced concern that Knight is looking past this next DSFL season (and perhaps, future ones too) to his first season in the ISFL, but Kairo Knight has vehemently denied these claims. It's good to see DSFL prospects excited about their next team, and while Knight has already begun to show out in his second season with Bondi Beach, it can be plays like these from the ISFL that help push prospects to the next level.

Benji, what was your favorite play from Week 1?
Well, I usually love to hype up my teammates as they do an awesome job, but this week was a special one for me as I caught my first professional touchdown! Scoring in the prospect bowl games and in preseason was fun, but nothing like this. Tijuana had a 7 point lead and we were driving again. I got a great ball thrown my way for a 17 yarder earlier in the drive, then that followed up with a 14 yarder to Basinger to get us into the red zone. I love the red zone, man. It’s where I shine. Eventually we get to 3rd down, and I hit the out route and Bannings (@bowl0) let that ball fly as soon as my plant foot hit the turf. Just a perfect pass to allow me to catch the ball in stride and turn up the field for the score. I’ll never forget that feeling! Capping that game off with a big W was just the icing on the cake. Cravy: Yes, down there in the back?
Johnson: Bill, what was your favorite play this week? Cravy: Well even though we lost, in no small part thanks to my secret referee jersey being confiscated before the game, my favorite play by far was what I called the 'Pistol Pete Play'. Despite losing out to the Pythons, I was lucky enough to grab the first interception of the Grey Ducks' season in a turnover that led to a a touchdown. We were sitting there on first and ten at around the 20 yard line, and I saw Grimes shooting forward for the short pass. I lunged ahead of him in man to man coverage thanks to incredible pressure from our D-line, and before I knew it Winters had thrown a remarkable pass not to Grimes but to myself. Once locked my eyes were on the endzone, but for all the flak I can give him for keeping his eye off the prize, Grimes managed to stop me from gaining more than 5 yards or so. Big props to Painted Penguin and his connection to Gibson when the cards were down to finish what I couldn't. All I can say is Donovan Winters better keep an eye out for me next game, I'll be all over those Pythons receivers.
In a week 3 matchup at home against the Honolulu Hahalua, The Secondline were ahead on the game by six points with 2:17 remaining in the game. The NOLA punt buried trhe Hahalua inside their own twenty at the ten yard line. Great Punt!
With time winding down and behind on the scoreboard by six, Hahalua begin their drive by getting a first down on a pass play out to the twenty-two yard line. On the next play, Hahalua gain anither eight yards through the air again. With the ball on the thirty yard line and on second down the NOLA defense took over culminating in my favorite play of the year so far. On fourth down and fourteen yards to gain at their own eighteen yardline, Hahalua hikethe ball. Montagne drops back deeo into the pocket and is almost immediately met in the backfield by CHim Rickles for the strip sack resulting in a turnover. The play was on fourth down so it wouldve been a turnover regardless, but Chim is credited with the clutch strip sack! 176 words
My favorite play of the season is of course by my player, Jumbo Edward the stud Defensive tackle of the Portland Pythons. Now, defensive tackles do not get crazy stats. But this one is particularly sweet because it causes the opponent points and we need to take context into account. The game is Minnesota Ducks vs Portland Pythons, week one, in the fourth quarter it is crunch time. Ducks running back, The Party Rhino tries to run against Jumbo Edward and gets stopped at the line of scrimmage! Which causes, the Ducks to try for a third and long. They incomplete the pass and stopped the clock! Now, the Ducks try a fifity-one yard field goal to go up on the Pythons. The kicked Jay-Jaymison misses the kick and this saves the Pythons lead. This helped Pythons maintain the lead and ended up winning the game. The first win of the season, which a lonely defensive tackle helped seal. Jumbo Edward only had three tackles the entire game. I would say a big boi play is my favorite play of the week.
