So far my favorite ISFL play is Russet Buster's second interception against New York in Week 2. Buster was a man possessed for that game, recording 6 passes defended and two interceptions as the Saber Cats came back to win after falling behind 20-3. His first interception was of little consequence, as the Saber Cats would turn the ball back to New York only a few plays later. However, in the fourth quarter, down by three with less than five minutes left to play and the Silverbacks looking to close out the game, Russet broke up a pass on first down to set up a second down sack by Mike Scott, and dealt the finishing blow to New York's possession with a clutch interception to set the Saber Cats' offense up with prime field position. They would capitalize as DeAndre King would score the go-ahead touchdown a few plays later, making Buster's interception into what I think was the most significant play of the season so far. It also bumped me up an extra TPE on my predictions so I appreciate that as well.
