As a person who was born and raised in North Carolina I’d have to go with Bojangles, as not only is Bojangles actually good and currently stands as my favorite fast food chain, it was also founded in North Carolina.
I would help promote the business in a handful of ways. I would take part in ad campaigns that include social media and television. The bigger part of this sponsorship would be to tie it to my performance. Something like “every time I get a sack get a free Cajun Biscuit the next day” or something to that effect. Bojangles does this right now with the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL when they score Power Play goals, so it would be a promotional scheme that the company would likely be willing to roll out.
The biggest concern however would be maintaining authenticity. I wouldn’t want to be seen as fake or inauthentic. This is why Bojangles being actually good is important, because if the food sucked I wouldn’t take any sponsorship.
