I am 99.9% sure you talked @Keyg_an into retirement singlehandedly. Or he’s your multi. Why else would he come out of four weeks of inactivity just to say he wanted to play for NOLA and then go IA again? How would you know that he was going to retire the very next day in your draft grades? As low down shit goes that’s pretty low.And this is where that skewed and one-sided point of view comes in, and someone pipes up and thinks it's someone else's fault, and the first thing they like to point at is the one of the only actives on the team that mass retired, not knowing even 5% of what was going on, and all he heard was 'Beaver fucked Las Vegas over and didn't want to play for Keygan, this is despicable of him'. What you don't know about the situation is how I discussed with both Bovo AND Ben about Keygan beforehand, let them know of this situation, and asked for their opinion about it, whether they wanted to keep him or fine with having him retire the team. Personally, I was on the fence with this whole situation. I didn't like the fact that Keygan wanted to retire and ultimately fuck over Vegas, but at the same time, we want him to have the best experience in this league, and he's been having a pretty decent time leaving our locker room. And then, not some twenty minutes later after receiving responses from BOTH GM's, Keygan posts his mass retirement and basically forces my hand into a certain circumstance. It was either mass retire, pay the penalty for unretiring, and carry on with life, having our already small batch of prospects get even smaller and pretty much causing some kind of rift in one way, which would lead to this thunderdome turning into a thread about how stupid and how much of a rookie mistake it was for mass retiring for no reason, further tarnishing the reputation in Las Vegas, which I've been trying to rebuild since I got here. OR, I could just let an inactive co-GM retire, turn a bunch of inactives into trade assets, get Bovo hired, and let HIM deal with the situation. I think my decision was easy and most likely the right decision. Again, your assumptions come from a couple of posts I made to make this whole thing happen, so I understand where you're coming from, but you're tooting your horn at the completely wrong place here. So, if you could kindly take your bullshit attitude, your bullshit Yellowknife Locker Room bias, as well as your conciet in believing that it was OUR fault doing this, and take that elsewhere, say the Yellowknife Locker Room to vent and everything, that would be greatly appreciated. Well, that, or sticking your head out of your ass for a change. That'd be great, too. If you'd like to retract your statement, I will accept that, as well. Can't wait for this to become a copypasta (06-09-2018, 07:50 AM)Vicious Wrote:No, it’s not an actual real fan zone, I was saying it’s the equivalent of a fan zone, it would make sense to name it the Second Line, like the 12th man, since they would be supporting the team on the field, much like the real second line supports the band. Naming a sports team after the people that dance and support the actual event just seems kinda off, but to each their own.@timeconsumer @bovovovo is this a Kendrick multi? I DM'd @Keyg_an to tell him how much I respected him and how much of my frustration stemmed from knowing how much of an asset he was when we weren't fighting. That may not sound like much to the average reader, but Keygan and I used to be quite friendly, from the moment he joined NSFL, and we'd even had some good moments in PBE. Hell, I had expressed romantic interest in him (06-09-2018, 12:01 PM)bovovovo Wrote:I DM'd @Keyg_an to tell him how much I respected him and how much of my frustration stemmed from knowing how much of an asset he was when we weren't fighting.
